Tabatacise vs. 40/20

I did Tabatacise 2 days ago and 40/20 today. I'll take round 5 of Tabatacise over Butt Kicks! 20 seconds is sooooo much easier to make it through. Tabatacise is going to hold much less of a dread factor for me. Both workouts are great, though.

Thanks Elsie for bringing up this comparison.
I was intending to do the same after a tabatacise try out.

Living in Uk i am still waiting for my XTRAIN. 40/20 is very tough for me...tougher than TTM and CF. I think I will agree with you on this...Butt kick :eek:

Enjoy your tabatacise ;-)

I was just discussing this the other day at my check-in's :).

After having done Tabatacise (all 5 rounds!) twice now, I would have to conclude that 40/20 still remains Cathe's hardest cardio to date (at least *IMO* anyway ). For some reason, I feel Cathe's speed in 40/20 is superhuman! She does those butt-kicks over the step at a speed that just baffles the mind . I also feel that 40/20 is not only extremely hard cardiovascular-wise (40 second of work is TOUGH) but it is mentally draining as well.

So ya, all in all I would have to say that 40/20 still kicks my booty harder :p.

Agreed--40/20 is tough!

I agree--40/20 is really hard--just sneaks up on you after a bit! I thought it was harder than Tabatacise!

However, I think that some of the older DVD like Hardcore Extreme and IMAX 3, and Cardio Fusion (Body Blast/Drill max, where the rest was NOT timed/planned were harder. Maybe it's just a mental thing. Seeing the rest time counted down really helps with the pacing. Does anyone else feel this way?

Love these new work outs--so much so that I can barely stand steady state cardio now! Seems so boring compared to HiiT, and takes SOOO long!

tabatacise versus 40/20 Hiit

Hi everyone,

Having now tried Tabatacise, I can now re-confirm my previous thoughts comparing Tabatacise to 40/20.

40/20 is tougher for sure---They are both tough and effective though.

I am "high" :D:D:D on Hiit while writing this. I have just completed 30/20 Hiit only premix from To the max---I love TTM premixes. I am off for disc 27 shoulders, biceps and triceps. ;-)
