Colleen, I def don't want all your snow !!! Our has turned to rain and then some freezing rain, now it seems to be changing back to snow again .

I did Step moves and no equipment abs. This afternoon I'll jump on the TM or bike !
I do NOT recommend doing double STS weight workouts after 3 days on the couch with no movement !!!! I am so sore today ! Upperbody and my calves especially ! ouchie !

All this brownie talk ! You girls are making me HUNGRY !!!!!!!!!!!!
Eats are clean so far (breakfast : protein pancake , lunch : warm tuna sandwich on WW sandwich thin/ carrots & celery sticks & hummus) and have been very good lately but I'm baking this afternoon .......chocolate chip cookies and maaaaaaybe a cake, so I am hoping I can resist. Usually it's no problem but I'm really hungry for something like that !! baking now is probably a mistake !

katie, yeah for a snow day. i took progesterone post ovulation with finn. it can mimic pregnancy feelings, so that is the only tricky part, if you aren't. good lcuk!!

Very interesting, I agree. I feel certain that a pretty good amount (maybe not 100%, but a lot) of what is causing this with me is STRESS - from my job, etc. MUST get a handle on this!

well arent we chatty today =)

JJ fell asleep on the way home from the gym and I was carrying him upstairs to put him in the crib when I realized he had pooped through his pants. so I had to change him before putting him down, what a production that was, and fully undress for new clothes... sorry if TMI. anyhoo, he woke up, of course while doing all this and now he is not sleeping! been in bed almost an hour and he is not asleep so I guess its time to go in and get him. phooey.

would love the recipe for crockpot wings - who was that?

robin, exercise can strip your body of estrogen and mess up your cycles for sure - lots of athletes do not get their periods at all. i know when we first went to the dr after not getting pregnant and not cycling, the first thing i tried was not exercising. it did not help me, but a friend in the same boat got pregnant first try after cutting wayyyyy back on exercise. everyone is different.

katie, i did curl up with grey's - no nap for finn, but he did great quiet time while i watched:D it was very good - yang is particularly amazing in this weeks episode.

Nina, I want some of your muffins. They sound yummy!

I got my double cardio in ! Step Moves this morning and just did iCYCLE 14 (40 min. 14.5 miles) So I am caught up on the rotation !!

I made chocolate mousse with tofu and greek yogurt, cannot WAIT to have some !!! Also baked chocolate chip cookies and didn't even lick my fingers ! Also put ribs in the crockpot .

It was sleeting for hours and now it's snowing again ! Crazy weather !! I have a fire in the fireplace and am just enjoying staying IN !!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
 
Wow! I've missed a lot this afternoon! I'll try and catch up! The presentation went well-it was about our anti-bullying/character education program. I am so not a speaker-it's a wonder how I ever taught school! Went out to lunch at Olga's-had a piece of spinach pie, a giant pita, and some of their pita chips-the salad I ordered was all iceberg lettuce-blech! Oh, well. Gonna have some coffee then head down for my workout. Gotta call the folks and see if they want the girls today or tomorrow.

I think Robin had the crock pot wings, I had drumsticks: 12 chicken drumsticks, skin removed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce



Directions
In a large bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and tomato sauce. Add drumsticks and stir to cover chicken with sauce.

Cook on low 8 hours.

Each serving is 2 drum sticks.


Number of Servings: 6

i told finn we were doing cathe abs in a bit, the kbing ones. he said he wants to wear his ninja headband (from facebook pics) - they are so funny!
 
Chocolate Mousse
12 oz soft silken tofu, drained
2 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp almond extract
1 C semisweet choc. chips melted
1/2 cup FF greek yogurt
Place tofu, vanilla and almond in food processor and blend til smooth.
Add melted chocolate & blend 1 min. Scrape sides & blend another minute.
Pour into bowl.
Fold in yogurt just until blended . Chill till inready to eat.

Klaudia, I think I'm gonna make those wings for superbowl , they look great !

Katie, they keep changing it still. It was supposed to turn to rain today, but it has been snowing since about 8:30am. Right now, we are still in the 6-12 inch area. Great article, I am constantly stressed it seems and have found it quite interesting what some studies have said about stress/cortisol/belly fat. My ab area is really 2 sizes larger than the rest of me!

OMW, I don't think I can get caught up right now. My plan was to work out after work tonight, but how bad would it be to do it tomorrow? I have no plans whatsoever tomorrow except to go to the post office and pick up a birthday present for a friend. So I'll have plenty of time. I think I want to just sit around tonight.
