Supersets

I just did supersets and it feels so good to be workingout again! I am being ever so careful as not to overdo my knees. I can't wait for Tomorrow's workout!! I am going to do step blast with my knee brace, I just love those icepacks after the workout!!! and yes my knees are coming along pretty good!
 
Leslie, I'm so very happy for you - remember - slowly - don't over do and by all means use those ice packs.

At physical therapy this past Thursday my PT took out The Step - you should have seen the expression on my face - LOL. Jennifer, one of the aids said I had the face of a kid in a candy store. I was so happy!!! My PT says, "Iris, you must do this very carefully". He gave me these two ski pole looking things to hold on for balance. I did a very slow basic step, mostly on my bad leg and as I was doing it I started going up and down with a slow rhythm at first, but with the background music playing I found myself going to the beat of the music and before I realized it I wasn't using the poles. IT FELT WONDERFUL, GREAT, EXCILLERATING - get the picture!! Of course yesterday I was a victim of being very sore but I didn't dwell on it. I'm slowly coming back, so I know exactly how you feel Leslie. My quads are being worked like gangbusters which is helping big time. I'm going to attempt to do a slow version of basic stepping and see how I feel. Leslie, keep us posted and I'll do the same. Many of you have read my dilema with my knee since my surgery in October.
