Ah-ha! Now I know where my energy for my run went this morning! You took it! LOL! I had zippo energy and couldn't get out for my run this morning. I'm wondering if it had to do with the fact that I had fish and brussel sprouts for dinner and no carbs at all. Oh, well.

I'm glad you have tons of energy today! I love those days! Make the most out of it!
 
I have some extra energy today too -- is it the water?? I did MMA Fusion twice through and some elliptical -- but I'm really excited that I have the energy to CLEAN MY HOUSE TODAY!!!
 
Hi gals!!! Here Tricia- have some of mine!! I have similar theories about carbs at night. My son "forced" me to order pizza for dinner last night:p:rolleyes::eek: Maybe that's why I was pumped this morning!! Or it could also have been the morning after guilt from indulging!! :eek::eek: Who cares! It was a great workout(s)!!

Not to encourage bad eating habits, but I swear I'm stronger, faster, and tougher after eating stuff like pizza and ice cream. I once had one of my very best weight days after eating birthday cake for lunch. :eek:

I did Body Blast Time Saver Legs/Core and MMA:Boxing combos only and it kicked my patoot!

I think you all touch on a very interesting point. We are often so concerned about the relationship between our food intake (calories and nutrient ratios) and how it affects our physiques that we often forget the a Calorie really is a unit of energy and as a result can have a huge impact on how energetic we feel.
 
Well, I made up for it tonight! Went to a birthday party for a friend and didn't do too badly, but had 2 stuffies, a small serving of shrimp, shredded pork, a couple of glasses of wine and a tiny piece of birthday cake! 8 mile run, here I come! Tomorrow morning anyway!
 
Great job! I'm so jealous because my energy left about a week ago. I have no idea why, but I just keep pushing myself in hopes it will return soon.
 
I thought I'd experiment this morning and eat a little something before trying Cardio Core Circuit today (as opposed to my usual fasting cardio). I will have to play with this a bit to be sure, but boy, it may turn out to make a huge difference. CCC is super tough for me first thing in the morning, yet today's AM workout was great.
