sunless tanning

I highly recommend doing a search on this topic as there are quite a few informative threads on good products such as Famous Dave's.

You knpow I finallytried that Dave's stuff after hearing all the raves on this site and another site.. well.. actually all over the net..

I don't like it. Doesn't work for me.. not even a small trace of any color :(

The first time I swear it actually made me itch.. doesn't mean that it isn't great for others.. Im always the exception to the rule.. if it works for *most* people.. Ill always be the one it doesn't work for :)

I tried the spray tanning and I really liked it, it faded nice and everything.. but its $$$ so Ill only be doing it for photos and certain occasions and whatnot.

Have you tried the Tan Towels or the Fake Bake?

I've tried EVERYTHING and have never found anything that worked for me in the long run. In the end it always rubs off, ruins towels, pillow cases, sheets, puts brown rings around your shirt collars, etc... Famous Dave's made me break out in burning hives after using it for several weeks and it rubbed off on my FAVORITE Nike workout top. I just can't win. I'm determined to love my "paleness" now. I used to go to the tanning bed as well, but I've sworn that off too. It's not worth my health. I've heard bad things about the chemicals in those sunless tanners too. :(

I am of very fair northern European heritage, so I have tried just about everything. I am so pale, I practically glow.

Last year, I found Giesse Sun Dark Self Tanning Lotion. I love it. It gives a very nice color, and it smells like Jergen's lotion. Their website is www.sunlabsonline.com

This is the only one I have found that gives me a good color and does not smell to high heaven.

I used to like Jergens, but after reading the ratings on sunless tanners at Cosmetic Database, now I'm not so sure it's worth it. It looks like I shall remain a solid member of the Legion of Pale.

I've embraced my pale face too

Pale faces of the world unite! :D I used to care and then I realized I don't really care if somebody is pale so why should I care that I'm pale?

I have only had luck with Famous Dave's. I found it relatively odorless and worked quite nicely. That being said, everyone is different.
I've used it on occasion but frankly, I don't care any more. I'm Irish. I'm pale. I also receive numerous compliments on how nice my skin is. I suppose I'd rather be fair than look like a piece of beef jerky.
