Sun damage removal?

Anyone ever had any skin resurfacing, chemical peels, stuff like that for sun damage? Does it work? Does it remove brown spots?

Are you using Retin-A and something with hydroquinone in it (like Obagi's "Blender")? Retin-A is just a miracle cream in my opinion, and the hydroquinone is a skin lightener. The Obagi brand has 4%, the highest I know of, and you can buy it at the dermatologist. That combo will zap a lot of the damage..it will take a few months to see it, but that's the slow and less scary route.

I've had mild peels, but had already been using the Retin-A combo, so it was more for improving skin texture and little wrinkles.

I had fraxel done this spring. It is absolutely, positively miraculous! All the age spots are gone, all the fine lines are gone, my skin texture went from that desert-look to really fresh & glowing. It wasn't cheap, & it did hurt, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I suspect I will do it again in 3 or 4 years. :)

You can PM me if you have more specific questions.

I've had photo facial laser done along with microderm abrasion! It is expensive but definitely works. They use a cooling wand that blows cool air on your face, and the gel is cook, so it really wasn't bad. I'm very pain tolerant though. It will lift and get rid of the brown age spots, and helps to smooth wrinkles. You must use sunscreen faithfully though or you only develop new spots. If you have the money I recommend it.

Was this done at a dermotoligist office or a spa...and what was the cost? Thanks!
