Good Morning Everyone,

Is everyone ready to start another week? I am ready to start the month of calorie counting:-( Hate doing it but it always worked for me in the past.....and I will make it work again!:)
I am working two day shifts today and tomorrow so I am up for my run before work. If I don't do it now, it may never get done today.I am also hoping I will leave enough time so that I can pack a couple of snacks for today.
Last nights sleep wasn't the best.DD had a headache when she went to bed.After she fell asleep I thought that was it, I won't hear from her anymore tonight but she woke up at 12 and needed to throw up.So I was up with her for a bit. Then I heard DH come home from playing hockey at 1:30 a.m.....its a good thing he was gonna come home early.

Anyway,I will check in later.I just wanted to put my two cents in early today:)

Hi everyone....busy week, I am glad it is done!!!! This week is a little less busy. Calorie counting, Lori H, I hear ya, I did that beofre too, and I lost weight. I just can't deal with that stuff anymore, everything is going good for me as is.

Don't have alot to report today. I am going to do my Just Joyce Butt, some ab work, and probaly Low Max 4-7. BYE!!!!

Finished my run and now I am at work. I squeezed a 4 mile run in and 3 miles bring interval runs.I then had a nice breakfast of kashi and soy milk.

LoriS- Counting shouldn't be to bad b/c I didn't for so long that I can add everything up in a jiffy!(HMMMMMMMMM....popcorn)And I was never hungry b/c I made the right food choices, instead of wasting calories on empty foods.

I am going to try and do something else tonight.I syill didn't fit UB in yesterday. I ran outside yesterday and my legs are sore...weird

Good Morning Ladies,

I did it. I got up and did Imax 3 today. Maybe I'm depressed, overtraining or something since working out just doesn't seem like much fun right now. I will take it one day at a time. Also had my yearly exam this morning and will be scheduling a hysterectomy. I am excited and scared at the same time. The surgery will put me out of commission for 3 to 6 weeks depending on if it can be removed vaginally or not. Of course, now I really want to lose this weight. The last time I had surgery 3 years ago is when I gained all this stinkin' wt back! I'm sure with all the support I get here I will be just fine.

LoriH-good luck counting calories. If you use fitday.com, it will calculate your calories, fat, carbs, and proteins. It is a very usefull site and free too.

Hello Lori(s) and Diana:

Tonight I did LM. I only have 3 of the new DVDs and that is certainly my fave. This is my 4th week of really trying to come back. Last week I started actually feeling good.

Diana - sounds like you have a lot going on right now. I can certainly see why you weren't totally into working out today. do you know when the surgery is?

Lori H- good luck with the counting calories.

Lori S - how was your workout, sounds like you had a lot planned.

I've gained some weight too (about 5 lbs - with my not working out in mos - I'm actually suprised it isn't worse - but the tone sure isn't great).

Must admit my motivation is spurred on by a friend who works at a fitness club. We stopped by last week to say hi and that was just the extra motivation I needed.

Good Morning Ladies,
I am up for another run but I think it is going to have to be a shorter one. I didn't even hear the alarm go off! DH must have turned it off.But it was a good nights sleep b/c I don't think I MOVED! I love sleeps like that.So I am going to get 30 min in.
I didn't do anything last night.By the time I got home from work it was 7 and then I had to eat and do homework.I am hoping to fit something in tonight.If not I will go hard the next couple of days b/c I am off.
Counting cals was o.k. Made me realize how far I am off and how much more food I eat now then I did a ouple of years ago. By the end of the day I would only be nearing 1200 cals and I would eat something just to stay up that high.And I wasn't hungry all day. Yesterday I was at 900 cals and I still had a snack and a meal left to go! Its b/c I pick and I didn't think it made that much of a difference but I guess it does. I would say, that I have been consuming over 2000 cals a day and not even realzing it.Oh dear...alot of work needs to get done!

How is everyone doing? Man oh man, My legs are so sore this morning. Last night, I did P90x Plyo workout, what a workout, very tough, especially if you are out of practice ;o)

Tonight: P90x Shoulders/Arms and Ab Ripper.

Has anyone ever did Ab Ripper, I know its pretty darn tough, can you give any advice.

TeddyGirl- I ordered P90X once and I never ever heard anything from them. My visa was never charged and about 3 weeks after I e-mailed them and told them to forget it. It was strange.I figured I would get a relpy from the forget it post but I never got that either, it was as if I never ordered it. I was a little disappointed though b/c I was looking forward to getting them.

Everything is going good here today. My eating as been under control.Makes me realize how much I eat and am not even hungry.Oh, I hope I can stick with it, I just want to be able to fit into all those jeans I have in my closet again.I can get into them now but they are awfully tight.
My run was good today. I am hoping to do something later tonight, we will see.DH is gone so I may get my second wind sometime tonight.

That is so strange about your P90x order, hmmm….I’m sure if you had them you’d love them. I’m into my first week going alllllll the way this time.

Sunday, I ran/walk for an hour on my treadmill, love running too ;o) Trying to work myself back up to an hour of straight running. I know what you mean about the jean thing. I have so many things I want to wear. I just have to keep plugging away. Running 3x or more a week will definitely get me back on the right track. Have a great day.

I think its all about eating with me now. My workouts are pretty good and very consistent my eating lately as left much for the imagination.Its like I am afraid of being hungry. If I have to be hungry an hour before a meal, for some reason, I think, thats it....Im gonna die~ I just reall need to stick to something and it will be come routine no doubt about it.

When I get off I have to pick up my daugther, then I am going to take the dog for a run (i think)He really needs to get out.But I was already for a run in the a.m so I won't go for very long.

Hi Ladies,

This morning I did MIS with heavy weights again. Had planned on running at lunch but ended up working through lunch instead. Tomorrow will be a cardio day-maybe MIC or RS. My surgery has been scheduled for May 26th. I'm a little nervous now that the date has actually been set.

Just another 5 weeks left in our challenge. Sounds like we are all really giving it our best shot. Even to the point of counting calories:). We will all be lookin' good come June 1st!!!

My,my,my.....where is everyone to? I guess I could say that same for myself,hey?

My mornig is going pretty good. The weight that the scale was showing last week is now gone:) I didn't think it was my true weight b/c my eating wasn't out of control and I think its pretty impossible to gain 4 lbs in two days. My hands also felt very tight those days so I think I was retaining water.
I went to visit my SIL today and had coffee.She leaves to go home tomorrow. I love it when my family comes to visit but I also like it when everything goes back to normal. Its not that I don't enjoy them b/c I do, its just that I get so torn b/c I want to spend time with my family, but then I know there is a pile of work home and I also need to get my workouts in...and maybe a nap:)
Calorie counting as been going good today and its all been good food. I came home and did GS B,S,B and now I am drinking a protein shake. I have read alot lately about the importance of shakes after your workout. I am now dropping my child off at school and I am comming home for a run after that.

This morning was Rhythmic Step. I was down 1.2lbs when I weighed in on Monday night.:)

LoriH-glad to hear your calorie counting is going good. Have you taken a look at the fitday.com site. It really is a usefull tool.

Teddygirl-good luck with ab ripper. Don't have any advice for you though since I don't have P90x. Sounds the plyo workout must really be working if you're still sore!

Just finished my run. It went o.k but I was lacking in energy.

Diana- I used fitday.com before but I found that the count was way off. When I added the calories up myself I realized that I was eating alot more calories. So I am just sticking to counting them myself.

Hello everyone!

Just did PP. Today is Weds and this is 3rd workout of the week. I feel like I'm almost back - hooray.

I'm going to up the goal this week to 3 cardio 1 L&G and 2 weights (so far 1 weigh, 1 cardio, 1 L&G).

I missed my workout yesterday. I just felt plain lousy, and do not feel that well today either. I might do something like MM today, if I can get up the energy.

Hi Diana- I swear I am going to e-mail you soon :) I really hope we can meet up. Things this week have been crazy plus I have been fitting in all my workouts. After kinda taking it easy from being sick this weekend. Congrats on the weight loss! Anyway just wanted to check on with you.

Lori- I felt that way over the weekend and had to cut back on my working out. When I did work out I felt so yucky but my mind wouldnt let me not work out at all. SO I hope you feel better soon. Today is ME for me then cardio later on the treadmill. Its cold here in denver today:(. I hope everyone has a great workout and a great day!
