Suggestions for Pregnancy w/os???

Hi, all. I am new to the forum but not new to Cathe . I have been faithfully doing my clasic Firms, Cathes and TLPs 4-5x weekly for the past two years now and have peeled about 45 lbs. of stubborn post-pregnancy weight off my butt since that time. I have gained some great strength and definition and have dropped from a size 14-16 to a size 6-8.

I am now expecting our second child sometime in July. I am probably too advanced for most of the pregnancy w/os out right now and, aside from the prenatal yoga w/os, don't plan to purchase any.

I need some suggestions of some good Cathe w/os that are easy to modify during pegnany or have worked well for others on this forum during thir pregnancies. I have all of the Hardcore DVDs and also have High Step Circuit (the Beginner/Int. one I picked up on eBay whenI found out I was prego.)

Thanks for any help...

Hi Amy,

I'm not Cathe, but I thought I'd point you in a helpful direction. These forums have a specific Fit Pregnancy section, where you'll find plenty of great suggestions for maintaining your fitness while pregnant. I had a baby 6 weeks ago and worked out 6 days a week to Cathe, up to and including the day I delivered. The pregnancy forum was a great support network. Check it out! :) And congratulations on your pregnancy!

Hi Amy,
I'm almost 7 months pregnant and have been able to do Cathe's workouts just fine. I have all Cathe DVD's and the only two workouts I do not use are IMAX3 and Bootcamp.
The only modifications I need to make are two footed jumps and tuck jumps. I also substitute slight incline bench presses for push-ups.
Since you said you only have the HC series, I do have to make modifications in for the back exercises since some of the exercises are either flat your back or on your abdominals.
If you're able to, I'd suggest you purchase the CTX and PS series. Those will be great for after the baby as well.

Hey Amy! Congratulations girl! We have missed you on V but have a temporary check-in over at Yayas, can we see you there hopefully?

Since I've never been pregnant, I'm afraid I am no good on any suggestions here, sorry! :-( Tracy

Hi Tigger -- no luck getting approved on the Ya-Yas, despite repeated tries. I'll see you around here, hopefully! I miss all of a'll, too! Please tell everyone hi from me!
