Sub for S&H/CTX

Hi... I posted this ? in the rotation for Oct thread but afraid it will get lost. Can someone give me a good sub for S&H and CTX on the October rotation? I have the Gym Styles, can these be used for the S&H in a different way, i.e. heavier weight? I have the Pyramids, MIS, BodyMax, ME, TimeSaver which has a short upper body w/o on four of the w/o's.

Anyone who knows about how these weight w/o's work differently, please help.

Hi Jane...my 2 cents...:)...for CTX you could do MIS or ME but since you are already using GS in the Oct rotation I'd say to use the Pyramids for S&H. Just pyramid up and do a slower count as S&H is a 6 up/2 down count. Try to go heavy also...:)...Carole

Thanks Carole!!! I can't wait to see if this rotation will do to my upper body what the Sept rotation did to my lower!!!

Hi Carole! I needed a sub for S&H also so if I use the pyramid up do I still break it down as Cathe says eg ( S&H triceps and biceps) do I only do those in the pyramid up? Thanks for your help!
Deborah:)

Yes Deborah, I think doing the parts on the days Cathe has in the rotation should stay the same. Just remember to slow the count down a bit and try to go heavy if you can. That would make it more like S&H...:)...Carole

I agree that the Pyramids are as close as one can get to S&H. If you can stand it, just do the 8 rep set 3 times with the slow count that Carole suggested. In S&H, there is a one minute rest between sets. Low reps & a long rest so that you can lift heavier.
