STS Recovery Week Check In Day 5

Hi All! Well, this is it. Our last recovery check in day before we start the last Mesocycle of STS :eek:

I can't wait!!! See you on Monday, strong like bull :D

Today I am teaching my step class for my day's fitness activity. What are you doing?
 
Good Morning!
Later on today I will be on the ellipitcal. My daughter is coming in from a 2 week trip to London and Paris around midnight tonight - I cannot wait! So it will be a late night for me and lots of painting this weekend to get the house ready for her HS Graduation party in a couple of months. Lots happening - so excited!!

Hi everyone :)! Boy am I ready to get back into the weight work :eek:. Of course, I may change my tune on Sunday when Meso 3 starts ;).
 
Today will be nothing... sick, but hoping this recovery time will aid in being ready to start back up on Monday!
 
Step Blast

I chose Step Blast & as usual it lived up to its name. I am enjoying the rest weeks in between mesos, its something i've never done before. It does make me feel stronger & ready for the next workout.
 
Today was another yoga day for me. Ooommmmmmm........ I chose to do Tony Horton's 1:1 Fountain of Youth yoga (45mins), which is far from ooommmmmmm, but still stretched me out very well.

This morning I taught a total body endurance resistance class, going as light as I could seemly go. I'm trying to gather my strength for Meso 3! I start on Sunday. Right now, I'm looking forward to it. I'll be singing a different song on Sunday afternoon, I imagine :rolleyes:.

For my last recovery week day, Saturday, I will be teaching a 60min cycle class.

S.S 2= 4:28 BPM= 127
Cool Down= 4:33 BPM= 107

I love kickboxing and love the med ball so you know I enjoyed this workout and so did my abs.

That's it for me today, I've had to try to reduce impact to my knees as best I can without stopping workingout. So, that's why I only did a brief run today, I hate that it was a short one but oh well. Gotta modify for injuries so I am.

IMAX 3

I did the first 5 intervals of IMAX 3 and STS Abs: Pilates Abs. OMG - I am SOOOO out of shape on those intervals. I am totally gpoing to get back into my CATHE cardio at home. I run at the gym, but clearly and I do mean CLEARLY - I have to add some variety. I was so winded. I ran 5 miles the other day too! Goodness!!!

Looking forward to starting Meso 3 tomorrow!!!
 
Running

I am not sure where this falls within the day numbers so I will add it here.

I ran 5 miles on Friday - interval style and steady run as well. It was great!!! I was going to do Yoga abs, but I had to get up to my parents to help prep for the yard sale they had on Sat. i took Sat off to work the sale.
