Hi Cathy,

Thanks again for the spin bike story!!! it was very inspiring!!! I am still working on it. Anyway since the pre-sale comes with the 30% discount, I was thinking of getting the STS series, but wanted to know if would be too much for me! I am around 103lb and I just want to get some nice definination upper and lower body. I currently have the LIS series, gym styles and STS total body, intensity, lower body blast and high reps. Do you think the STS would be too much! i also don't have the tower. and i have up to 20 lbs and a barbell and your step with 3 risers each. Thanks for your input.:D

I have some input, even though I'm not Cathe.

Definitely get the STS series.
I am 105 lbs and have been working out for about 10 years. (I am 50 years old.) I have the same DVDs that you have, plus quite few more.
I have only dumbbells up to 20lbs (3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20), no barbell, a step with 5 risers each side.

I do not have a tower.

STS sat on my shelf for a year and a half because I thought I'd need more equipment.
My muscle tone and definition was really quite nice; I was happy with my body.

FINALLY, on January 1, 2012 I decided to start the program thinking that I would at least get some nice weight training in. Nothing wrong with that. My New Year's Resolution was to use the STS series as something more than a dust collector.

I am shocked at the changes in my body halfway into the program. Every muscle is more tone and the definition is eye-popping.

The only thing I would add to your equipment is the tubing and weighted gloves. You can work around not having the other equipment.

I sound like everyone else on this board - this really IS a great program. I already have the next round set up in my Workout Manager.

I may need to get a couple more sets of dumbbells, though.

I agree with bonjonbart in that you really don't need an STS tower to do STS and it (STS) really is a great investment.

Just a barbell and weights will suffice, and really, you could just go with dumbbells if you had to.

It is just a great system. I did STS Meso cycle 1 & 2 with only the equipment that you have and I was fine. I eventually did break down and get the Tower, because I thought it would be a nice addition.
