We have seen some request on the forums today for pictures of the STS mesocycle case and thought we would post a picture for you. The picture above is of mesocycle #2 and contains 12 DVDs.
These cases were recommended to us by SONY because they reduce the chance of a DVD coming lose in a shipment. The design was done by us.
Our first choice for a DVD case was originally just a bigger version of the black plastic case like we used in the CTX series. We quickly changed our mind after SONY tested the cases and found they did not consistently hold onto the DVDs in shipping.
The cases we eventually chose, as you see above, are excellent at holding onto DVDs and there should be very few problems with lose discs in your order.
Just make sure to press your thumb in the center hole and use your forefinger to lift the disc on one side. It also is advisable to separate the leaf you're removing a disc for from the other leafs so it can bend a little when you try to remove a disc. This will help to put less stress on the disc. After your first or second try the discs will remove much easier.
