STS first time!

Good morning! I am SO tired! Why don't I go to sleep earlier every night?? It's going to be cold & dreary today:confused:.
You and DD are too adorable. You made it--DS will come home today!

Missy, that is absolutely fabulous! Did you use Sizzix to make the week names?? It is so different and playful! Are the frames open? Is the background cork? Do you post on paper with pushpin?

Lol in the typo. Too funny. I guess I need to proof read better. I blame my phone.

Yucky rainy day here. I totally slept in this am. I am working from home today so I will try to squeeze in a workout after I get dd on the bus. Although I have no motivation today. Actually I will probably drive her to school since its to crappy out.

Missy, you are so crafty.

Carolyn, what time does DS get home today? I'll have to checkout the book you are and missy are reading. I live to read about fitness.

Marie, how did the interview go?

Mary, do you leave tomorrow? I'm hope you have a wonderful time.

Hi Jean, thinking about you. Hugs!

Hi Betty, have you cooks any vegan/vegetarian meals lately? Last night we had chicken with eggplant and kale in a tomato sauce. It was supper yummy.

Hello....

Betty.....here comes the creativity.....my letters are from quickutz...I have so many alpha dies...I just love them. The frames are not open I left the glass in them....I use a dry erase marker and it wipes right off....It actually looks awesome with the writting on the glass...it kinda looks 3d....because you have the days of the weeks behind the glass....so cute! I am really anal about neatness...so I couldnt have pins whole in my cardstock...LOL

Jean....I am glad you are doing good!

I have to take My Little Man...Boots to the vet today...he has another UTI....something in his food I think.... I will probably have to put him back on prescription food. My poor little man...his pee pee hurts!:( I am only working till noon today...then going home....then coming back to town, his appt is at 3.

Carolyn---Enjoy your walk or workout....I am enjoying the book too. I am a nut about my fitness books...I am normally really something fitness/nutrition.

Be back later!

Carolyn, sometimes it just feels good to get those things done. I've yet to exercise today too. Probably wont and I am ok with that. I've been know to eat food right from the fridge as well....

Hey everyone,
I did S&G, 100 RC Tris (never did this before!), 100 RC Bis. I'd not done S&G since Oct so I've forgotten that it is a TB & cardio workout. I dislike dragging planks and pushups on discs; so many of LIS workouts do that.
I too stripped the sheets. Did some errands in the pouring rain. Now it is sleeting!

Jean, you got it! Swish/pull the oil back and forth through your teeth. It's that action that pulls the lodged bacteria, food, etc, out. You should also take a daily tbsp in your food. It is so healthy for you.
Coco oil is shelf stable and will never go rancid; you needn't refrigerate it. It's probably easier for you to handle when liquid. Mine is still solid.

Colleen, your dinner sounds divine! I eat kale 2-3x a week; it's so delish.
Unfortunately, it has been extremely difficult to do vegan/vegetarian in the past month+, with St Patrick's Day and Easter (corned beef, ham, rib roast);). I feel guilty eating meat. Honestly, guilt is my middle name!

Missy, I have a bunch of Sizzix alpha dies. So expensive and infrequently used because I am too lazy to punch out letter by letter nowadays. If I had a crafting buddy, I wouldn't mind though.;)
Start giving Boots coconut oil with his food, and also apply some several times a day to his pee pee. Seriously.

I am at the vet office.... they are doing ultrasound on his bladder right now....to see if maybe a diet change will help or something else....will let you know....

He is mommas boy.....so anything for my boy!!!

Yeah, Carolyn. I am so glad he is home safe. I forget when do you go to Florida?

Missy, I hope boots is ok.

Hi jean, glad you are doing ok. How is the basement coming along?

Betty, great job on your workouts today. I finally worked out. I did the UB segments of bb. I need to do abs but I don't know if I will get to that. I haven't even showered today. I feel icky. I did make a seed bread today that was made with sunflower seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, hazelnuts, physllium seed husk, oats and coconut oil! It turned out really good. Very hearty.

Were home.....boots us so happy to be home! He was such a good boy!

We did ultrasound which is suppose to show black ( if normal)....it looked like a snow storm....full of crystals. They then did a u/a...which showed some bacteria and crystals....so he got an antibiotic shot which is slow release over 2 weeks. They put him on hills s/d...it is suppose the help the crystals disolve....fir 2 mobths....then another u/a....if fetting better they may continue in s/d...if all better...switch to hiils c/d for maintance. I sure hope my little man starts to feel better....i have to monitor him and make sure his is able to pass urine....right niw he is snuggling with momma in the recliner!

Jean...they did not charge me for the u/a...thank god!!! My bill was $98.49.....i was shocked...they are normally pretty good to me!

Carolyn...glad your son is home safe!! I am sure you both will sleep very good night!

Bbl! Boots is demanding his tummy rubbed!

Thanks for understanding that I'm not able to check in daily. You gals are the best!

I got the job! Super excited! It's going to give me a lot of great experience. I'm very happy I am still going to be able to float to the units I work now. I do love my coworkers.

Today's workout was Bootcamp. Yesterday I did Low-Impact Challenge. I'm back in the groove!

Hope to be back later for personals.

I didn't mention but today the interview went well too. She said she's making a decision next week. Nice to have options if I do get offered the job however I do think I am going to follow my heart and go with the Unity float pool position. I really think it will give me more experience and it will help me get to my goal of post partum more quickly.

Hi Jean, I put peanut butter and jelly on It. Is also good toasted with coconut butter (not oil). I did not use a silicone pan. Just a glass one lined with parchment paper. It worked great. I let mine sit out for 3 hours before baking.

Insane, Carolyn! Oh, the things moms have to do!
Naive is good. Keep them that way as long as possible!

Dreary and chilly today. Worse tomorrow:(.

Anyone brew Dunkin Donuts at home? Smells and tastes so good! I'm only an occasional indulger since I add cream and maple syrup, but omg, yum!

I love Dunkin Donuts coffee. When I was on the East Coast last year I absolutely loved going there for my coffee. Yum!

Carolyn- Glad DS is home. I know how much you missed him!

Missy- Hope Boots feels better soon. Poor baby!

Thanks Colleen :)

Carolyn- Thanks for the congrats! Enjoy that snuggle time! Nothing better!

Missy- Love the menu wall! So creative :)

Betty- Nice job on S&G. I haven't done that one forever. Maybe I should break it out tomorrow.

Jean- It will take awhile to heal as you know. Pets are part of the family!

Mary- Nice job on UY Detox. I have yet to try that one. Gotta get back to my yoga routine. I miss it! I have wondered what that 5/2 diet is all about. Sounds interesting, however I cold never do it. I would starve on those 2 days ;)

So B has still been getting up at night, usually around 1 and 5. He still sleeps on the pack-n-play next to our bed. We have decided to try the Ferber method. Put him to bed while he is still awake. Let him cry it out for 5 minutes and then go check on him, rub him and tell him it's time for bed. Then let him cry it out for 10 minutes and check in again. Increasing crying it out time for 5 minutes each time. I cracked at 2 out of 15 minutes last night. Call me weak! I just felt way too bad. I'm determined though. I really have to get him sleeping through the night especially since I'll be working nights soon. Tonight we put him to bed and he didn't cry. Happy mama! And we put him in his crib. Success! We will be using the monitor of course but I'm still so nervous that I won't hear him. Ugh! Hoping it goes well. If any of you mamas have any tricks for having them sleep through the night let me know :)
