STS CHECK IN DISC 18

Checking in the day after Disc 18:

- Back was hard because I just had a real pull-up bar installed. Lots of room to grow in this area. I think I did maybe 4 with good form!

Barbell curls - always hard - I can't seem to increase weight easily here.
Concentration curls - repeated last TF set because I didn't feel it yet.

Boy do I feel it this morning. I am surprised. I seem to feel it more afterward when I think I don't feel it during the workout. Does that make any sense? I think those one-legged dead lifts really affected my core - the sides and midsection are also sore this morning. Feels awesome. Thanks Cathe!
 
Did disc 18 yesterday and really love the back off sets! I really cleaned up my diet this week and struggled with my weights.:confused:
I also installed a chin up bar and am proud to say that I can do 4 chin ups with good form! I was shocked!
The bicep concentration curls got me, I just had to keep lower my weight to keep up. Not sure if I should change my #s on my workout card for next week or just leave them as is and give it a shot. I think I was just fried at the end. I had a raging pump! All-n-all I feel success. Finished Cardio fusion and MB abs this morning. :D
Hard to believe that we'll be in week three on Monday.
 
Ouch - did I mention that I am really sore? (lol) My biceps and forearms are aching now. Still lovin' it though...
 
First one post injury

The one legged deadlifts were a great way to ease back into STS after my brief injury the other day.

I love back off sets - seriously. They are so much fun. I love it when my muscles feel like they are going to be able to go forever and then BAM fatigue hits and the weight feels just as heavy as the originally prescribed set!

Great workout.

I had to reduce the weight for concentration curls. I was WAY OFF on those. Actually, I have been way off on those through out the entire meso 2 cycle...
 
Finally! A great workout! And of course, I have no idea why. I didn't get enough sleep last night, I did boring, mind numbing work all day so didn't pick up any energy there, and wasn't even sure I was going to do it. But I did it anyway, and rocked it! Yay! Isn't it weird how sometimes when you least expect it you have a great workout and other times all the energy in the world doesn't seem to help?

Almost there... almost there... one more week with discs 16, 17 & 18 and I've hit the mid-way point!!! :D:D:D

All I wanted to say about Disc 18 is that I am in a Suricata/Meerkat stance!
You know the little cute desert animals? They stand with their arms bent in front of their bellies... Well, that's how I suppose I look today after all the bicep work in Disc 18:eek::eek::eek:
