Stretching Video?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good stretching video? I have lots of yoga tapes, but sometimes I just want an easy, effective stretch and I think I'll stretch more if I have a specific video to follow.

Thanks!

One of Kathy Smith's early '90's workouts, "The Instant Workout", has a 20-minute dynamic and static stretch segment (along with 20 minute "toning" and lo-impact cardio segments). The stretch segment is very relaxing.

It's short, 30min from start to finish, but the Denise Austin "Stretch & Flex" video is a good stretching video, you'll stretch everything from head to ankles within the 30min. You can find it on her website at deniseaustin.com for $9.95

I really like Tamilee Webb's two stretching videos: Total Body Stretch is 3 10-minute sections that can be done all together or one at a time. Good to tack on to the end of a workout. She has a standing section, sitting section, and floor section. The other one is Stretch for Flexibility is 30 minutes. Both of these are very well done and very enjoyable. They say that these are for beginners but I think you would have room for improvement even if you don't consider yourself a beginner. I am not terribly stiff but not real flexible either...I guess average and I get a lot from these videos and use them often.

I have another video with Candice Copeland called Dynamic Stretch and it has 3 15-minute sections. Although I do not like this one as well as Tamilee's it is still very good. She has three people helping her showing different variations and one is pregnant.

Another vote for Tamilee Webb's videos. If time is short - do 1 of the 10 min routines. If you have 30 min, do the longer. I have some yoga tapes, a Balance Ball, Voight's stretching tape, & Scott Cole's Millenium Stretch. They're all great but Tamilee's are the ones I do the most. I think I paid $15 for the 2 video set.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-04-02 AT 12:26PM (Est)[p]I have Tamilee's Stretching Video too, although I prefer Autonomy Stretch. It has 3 sections - standing, floor and solo. They are about 10 mins each, and I usually do the standing and floor. When my quads are very sore, seems like those stretches really help. You can get Tamilee's DVD for $15 at www.deepdiscountvideo.com (incl S/H), Autonomy Stretch for $5 at www.musicgraveyard.com. While you are at www.musicgraveyard.com, you could get Intense Moves for $5 (if you haven't got one already).
