Stretch Max once a week?

Hi Cathe--hope your recovery is going well.....:)

I just ordered Stretch Max, & first off I must confess that stretching is one thing I've pretty much ignored throughout the years. Over the last year or two I've tried to incorporate some pilates, and I always do warmup sets before lifting, but I have a really hard time sitting still for more than a few minutes so have completely neglected stretching.

I know, excuses excuses.

Anyway, right now I exercise 10-12 hours a week & work a heck of a lot of hours. So I'm wondering, will stretching once a week be effective? I don't think I'll be able to squeeze it in more than once a week, so I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile or if I'd just be wasting my time.

Hi, I am definately not Cathe but I can give you a little advice. In my opinion you are never wasting your time doing ANY kind of exercise. Coming from a person who is more of an aerobics kinda girl than a yoga girl I know where you are coming from. One thing that helps me is to always get a good stretch in during the warmup of my workout and after the cooldown. Then, your muscles aren't so tight when you get your one stretch max workout in for the week. Also, another good thing is to try to find just a few minutes in your day to do a few stretches, for instance, make it a habit when you wake up in the morning or right before you go to bed at night to just sit down and do a few stretches to loosen your body up. That way when you do Stretch max maybe it will help a little. I hope these little tips might help you!
