Julie Great job on your upper body wokrout and taking it easy on your shoulder. Oh man, there’s something about hearing howling wind that scares me!

This morning was STS 2 Lower Body 2 and Standing Abs Core plus floor. The name of that one always bugs me . Now I have to go out and try to get some donations for our Dress for Success Silent Auction, I’m not sure why I keep signing up to help with this because I hate asking people to give us stuff! Julie Great job on your upper body workout and doing your rehab exercises. I hope you power doesn't go out. Too funny about where you can walk to. We are very lucky where we live that we have so many places that we can walk to and a couple of lakes that are just a 15 minute drive away.

This morning I met up with a friend for a walk. We lucked out with the rain and it didn't start until we got back to our cars. It is suppose to clear up and get sunny for the next few days. I will be happy to see the sun again. Then in the afternoon I went out and got groceries. Now I am going to sit back and relax.

Pam Great job on STS2 LB2 plus SACPF! That is a long name and Abs plus Core sounds a little redundant although I know Core is more inclusive. Hope everything goes well and you get lots of donations.

Cheryl Yea, glad you got a walk in and the rain held off until you got back to the car. Enjoy the sun while it is out.

This morning was supposed to be my sleep in day but when DH got up at 3, there was blood everywhere again. So when Petunia was diagnosed with the UTI it was the best guess based on the fact the vet at that time couldn't find anywhere the blood was coming from. Well this morning, her entire mouth was filled with blood. So we put her in the car and drove her to the emergency vet. By the time we got there her mouth was pretty much clear of the blood but while the vet was looking her over, she saw blood coming from somewhere in the front of her mouth. She said she couldn't get a better look without sedating her and suggested we call our vet to get her in for that. So I am hoping that when the vet opens soon, they can get her in because she has not eaten so it would be a perfect time for her to be sedated. What a morning!

Julie Oh my, that sounds like a terrible morning. I hope that your vet was able to get her in and they could see what was going on. That is not a good way to wake up at all.

This morning was STS 2 Mat yoga. Another quick one which was nice. I got a few donations yesterday, but a lot more just leaving information for someone that I probably won’t hear back from . I was going to go out again today, but I think I’ll just do some email requests and go again next week. Have a great day!

Julie Oh no poor Petunia. I hope your vet could sedate her to see where the blood is coming from. That is not a nice way to wake up.

This morning I did a Barre workout. Now I need to get a few things done before I head out to the SPCA. I am hoping that I can get a short walk in too since the sun is out.

This morning was STS 2.0 Upper Body 2. It got really cold here so I think it will be a mostly indoor day with a fire. We do have a hockey game tonight though, so will have to venture out. Have a great day!

This morning was Perfect 30 HI Hiit and the abs from Muscle endurance. We had the best hockey game ever last night beating the Panthers 9-1! They are such a dirty team and for some reason we usually can’t beat them so it was especially great. The refs seemed to be watching for their dirty moves and didn’t let them get away with it for a change. It was even better because there were 2 really obnoxious Florida Panthers fans sitting behind us, so we weren’t sad at all when they left early . Have a great day!

Pam great job on STS 2 Mat yoga, STS2 UB2, and P30 Hi Hiit + ME abs! I am glad your team won. I don't understand how people enjoy being that obnoxious fan. I mean seriously they weren't in the own stadium.

Cheryl Great job on your Barre workout! Hope you got your walk in and maybe some more sun.

So Thursday, the vet got Petunia in surgery and found that there were several cuts under her tongue. Almost like a razor blade had been used on it or it went through the blender. She put a few stitches in it but said it could take awhile to heal and that she needs to stay on the coagulation meds. She also took a biopsy just to make sure there isn't anything else going on. I have no idea how her tongue got like that. She doesn't get into things outside because she is barely outside long enough to do her stuff and come back in. She has been doing pretty good over the weekend with only some bleeding on Friday and we increased how often she gets the meds and that seemed to help. I had my usual boring weekend with the same workouts and cleaning.

Julie Wow, that is so strange about Petunia. Don’t you wish there was some way to figure out what happened? I had a foster cat a couple of yearS ago who burned her tongue. She had been in a small bathroom that had nothing that she could have chewed on to cause it so the only thing I coud figure was that she had somehow licked the outlet. I’m glad to hear that she is doing better, hopefully she continues to improve. Great job on your weekend workouts!

Yesterday was my rest day. I finished my blinged Canes shirt, did some crocheting, worked on a puzzle and made sauce and pasta dough for lasagna. Today we have a 1:30 hockey game so I probably won’t do much before then. Have a great day!

Pam Good job on STS 2 Upper Body 2 and P30 HI Hiit. Congrats on the big win. Florida does have some obnoxious players on their team. I bet it felt good to destroy them like that and shut up the Florida fans that were behind you.

Julie That is strange about Petunia. Is it possible that she could have gotten into something in your home? I am happy to hear that she is doing better. Good work on all of your regular workouts.

So Friday I did something but I can't remember what. Then I got laundry done and then went out for a walk. Saturday I did a leg workout and went for another walk. Sunday was another walk and then I stopped off at the farmers market. The weather is too nice to be inside with all the sun we are having. It should last until Wednesday when it is suppose to start raining again. This morning I did yoga and now I need to get a few things done. Then I will see if I can get out for another walk.

Cheryl Great job on your mystery workout, let workout, yoga, and all of your walks. You are so good about getting out for walks. Enjoy that nice weather while you have it!

This morning was Hiit 40/20. I hadn’t done that one in forever so thought I would see how it went. I quit early on the butt kicks and on the wide straddle jumps at the end, but it went better than I expected. It did kick my butt though! Now I have to get some things done around the house and get to the grocery store. We are supposed to get a bunch of snow this weekend. Predictions are anywhere from 8 to 20 inches!!!! That will close this place down for a week or more so the stores are going to be crazy the next few days. Have a great day!

This morning was LITE Cardio Party. Now I need to get downtown for a meeting with our financial advisor. It is another nice day here so I will get a lot of walking in downtown.

Pam Great job on HiiT 40/20! I always thought it was weird the wide straddle jumps were at the end when you were exhausted. I feel they should have been earlier to help reduce injury risk. What in the world is going on with the snow. I hope you don't get that much.

Cheryl Great job on our mystery workout, leg workout, yoga, LITE CP, and walks! I love that you can get so many walks in.

Sorry for the late post. Time flies by when you are having fun working! LOL! Anyway, this morning was my lower body workout. The vet called us yesterday and said she had reached out to a vet network about Petunia's tongue. Other vets have found some dogs that have habitual licking (like Petunia does) have also had problems with the underside of the tongue getting cuts from brushing up against the bottom incisors. So she said that was a possibility. We still have the biopsy out just in case there is some other underlying issue.

Julie That’s exactly why I quit early on 40/20, I was afraid I would miss and fall and hurt myself on those box jumps. Great job on your lower body workout. Wow, that is crazy about the licking, but it makes sense. I hope that doesn’t mean it will happen again though! Hopefully there is no underlying issue. Great job on your upper body weights. Hopefully your shoulder continues to have only good days!

This morning was Perfect 30 Upper Body with the core bonus. That one is pretty tough for me but at least it goes by fast. Now they are saying the storm has shifted farther north so we may not get as much snow as they were saying. I hope that’s true! There’s never any telling what will happen, but we’re planning to be prepared to stay home for several days. Have a great day!

Julie Good work on both your lower body and upper body workouts. I would have never thought that brushing their tongue along the bottom incisors would cause cuts. I hope they have some solutions so that it doesn't keep on happening.

This morning i was really tired even though I had a awesome sleep. I think I did too much yesterday between my workout and all of the walking that I did. So I decided to take this as a rest day. I did go and get some groceries though but now I may just sit back and work on a puzzle.

Cheryl A nice relaxing day sounds amazing. I haven't done a puzzle in a long time. I am not sure where I would set one up that the dogs wouldn't knock the table over. Our vet said we could remove the incisors but I don't want to do that right now.

This morning was my sleep in day. I didn't get the greatest sleep even with a little extra. Ruby has been having on and off again elevated liver enzymes. A few weeks ago during her annual checkup they were elevated again. So today she is going in for a liver biopsy.

Cheryl That sounds like a nice relaxing rest day. We tend to always have a puzzle going during the winter. My DH has been spending a lot more time on them lately than I have though.

This morning was LM&R Functional Mobility Fusion. Now I’m trying to finish my book for this afternoons book club, but I don’t think I will make it. I thought I had another week so I didn’t end up strating i tuntil the remidner came out Tuesday night. I’m about 80% finished so I hope the spoilers aren’t too bad! They still think we’re getting a lot of snow this weekend, but the predictions are all over the place. I’m hoping for none, but I’m not sure I will get my wish. At least it’s a sunny beautiful day today. Have a great day!

Julie Our dinning room table is big enough do a puzzle on. When I am not working on it I need to keep it covered up because Willow likes to sit on it and play with the pieces otherwise. You do have a lot going on with your fur babies right now. I hope the liver biopsy is fine.

Pam I seem to have a puzzle going year round. Though I do spend more time on them in the winter than the summer. Great job on LM&R Mobility Fusion. I hope you could get your book finished.

Yesterday got away from me and I didn't get a chance to post. Yesterday I did PHA 3 and then got the rest of the housework done. Then I went out for a short walk before I heading to the SPCA to help out. This morning was LM&R Functional Mobility Fusion and now I am getting the laundry done. I will probably go our for another walk since it is cold but sunny day.

Cheryl Great job on PHA3, your walk, and LM&R FMF! I didn’t get my book completely finished, but I got 85%, which I thought was pretty good. I didn’t get any big spoilers during the discussion and then I finished it after I got home.

I guess I didn’t post yesterday either. I did P30 lower body and the bonus stability ball abs from Butts and Guts. Then I went out and got a few more donations for our Dress for Success auction. Cathe donated the last two years, but I haven’t heard back from her yet this year, This morning was P30 LI Hiit. Now we‘re waiting to see what this storm is going to do. They are telling people to be where you want to be for the remainder of the storm by 1:00 today, but I don’t think it’s supposed to start until 8 pm or so here. The latest forecast has us getting only ice, which is worse. That means we probably will lose power at some point, but hoping it’s not too bad. Have a great day!
