Strength in Numbers

Cheryl Glad you had a great time at the party! Wow that is so late. I think I would be sleeping until noon the next day. Great job on LM&R FMF and LM&R2 CTS + LM&F FCL2! I love the notion of a booze free bar.

This morning I did my lower body workout. I felt like I had more strength today which is odd given I did not get good sleep. The body is weird on when it wants to have energy and strength and when it doesn't. Yesterday afternoon I took Petunia to the vet for a checkup. The vet said she couldn't even feel anything from where the lump was! She is extending her antibiotic another week just to be on the safe side but assuming once she is done with the antibiotic, it doesn't come back, we can chalk it up to a fluke infection. Yea!

Cheryl Glad that the party was fun on Friday. I am like that too whenever I’m up late these days. I used to be able to stay out until 2 am and get up for my 6 am aerobics class. Those days are long gone! Great job on LM&R FMF, LM&R CST, and LM&R FC! We were supposed to be getting an alcohol free bar, but I’m not sure if we ever did. Glad to hear that they are doing well!

Julie Great job on your lower body workout. Our bodies are definitely hard to understand sometimes! Glad that you had more strength though. That is great news about Petunia! I’m sure you were relieved.

Yesterday was a beautiful day and also my DHs birthday, so we went out for a bike ride in the morning. It was perfect weather for it and not crazy windy like the last time we went. We went out for sushi for dinner because he loves it. I like the rolls but can’t do a whole meal of the nigiri like he can. This morning was STS 2.0 Total Body Giant sets. That one is always hard for me. Now I have some running around to do to get some things for Thanksgiving. Have a great day!

Pam Happy birthday to your DH. Good job on your bike ride and STS 2 Total Body Giant Sets. I love sushi but I can't do the soy sauce as I am allergic to it. So I need to be prepared and bring my coconut aminos with me which is a substitute for soy sauce.

This morning was LM&R2 Lower Body. Now I need to get moving to get some things done, I may go for a short walk before I need to drive out to my mom's bank. Probate has been completed so now there are a few things we need to get done.

Cheryl Great job on LM&R2 LB! I usually use Bragg's aminos but I have heard Coconut aminos are good too.

This morning I did my upper body workout. Looking forward to an extra day off work. DH and I are doing Thanksgiving just the two of us so it will be nice not to travel.

I can’t remember what workouts I did every day, but I did something everyday except Sunday. We had a really nice Thanksgiving and a couple of great hockey games over the weekend too. Carl and Jordan came to the hockey game with us on Sunday and we tailgated with our niece and her husband. It was really cold, but we survived. You know it’s bad when you’re happy to get in the ice Arena to warm up! This morning was P30 Upper Body and Core bonus. Now I have some house work to get done and all of the beds to change. Well I am the same as you Pam in that I worked out every day except Sunday but I can't remember what I did. I know I went for a couple of walks too as the weather was nice though a bit cold. This morning was STS 2 Upper Body 1. Now I need to get some baking done.

Sorry for not posting. My weekend workouts were the usual. Monday I had take Gunner to a vet an hour and half away so I was out of my normal element. Tuesday was my normal lower body and then I had meetings from the moment I got to work. This morning I did upper body. DH and I stayed home for Thanksgiving and it was nice not having to travel. Saturday we got about 4 inches of snow and then another 3-4 Monday night. It has been freezing in the low 20s. I know it is not technically even winter yet but I am already ready for spring.

Julie Great job on your weekend workouts, lower body, and upper body workouts. I like not having to travel for Thanksgiving. All of that snow sounds awful! We were just commenting that it seems like we have gotten much colder weather much earlier in the year this year. We have had several mornings below freezing already and that is really unusual. I hope that doesn’t mean we‘re in for a cold winter!

Looks like I forgot to post yesterday but I did LM&R Functional Core fusion with the core bonus. Then did some cooking and a cat room clean. This morning was P30 Lower Body. I think we’re going to go get a Christmas tree today, so there will be some Christmas decorating happening too. Have a great day!

Pam Great job on LM&R FCF plus core bonus and P30 LB! That is my fear is that the season is already starting in with heavy cold and snow which I think means we are in for a crazy cold, snowy winter. Yuck!

This morning was my sleep in day. It was nice but I could have used more time. I did not get good sleep last night. It is so cold her in the single digits. Poor DH both his jeep and his semi are having issues with the heat.

I forgot to check in yesterday too. Yesterday I did STS 2 Standing Abs Metabolic Warmup and Total Body Stretch. Then I went and got groceries and then got a few things done around home. This morning I slept in so I skipped my workout as I need to get a lot of things done before I go to the SPCA. We are leaving tomorrow morning for Victoria on Vancouver Island. It is our Christmas get together with my brother and SIL and her parents who live in Victoria. We have an early morning ferry that we need to catch so it will be a very early morning.

We didn’t end up getting a tree yesterday because my DH got all involved in a project that took him all day. I did do some decorating before going to the terrible hockey game that we lost 5-1. I slept terrible and had a headache when I woke up, but luckily I took some ibuprofen and it was gone by the time I started my workout. I did IMAX 4 and bonus abs 2. I’m not sure if we‘ll get a tree today or not because it is cold and rainy. Have a great day!

Cheryl Great job on STS 2 SAMW and TBS! I hope you had a fantastic time in Victoria.

Pam Great job on Imax 4 plus Bonus Abs 2 and PHA3! I am glad your headache went away. That would have been terrible doing Imax with a headache. DH didn't have a blanket but luckily is in a better semi today with better heat.

Weekend workouts were the same old same old. I also got some chores done around the house and some meal prepping. This morning was my sleep in day and I really needed. I got terrible sleep last night. I also did something to my calf and it has been cramped all day Sunday. It is a little better this morning but hopefully will be back to normal soon.

Julie That’s good that your DH got a better semi with heat. It was way too cold for no heat! Great job on your weekend workouts and chores. I hope your calf is feeling 100% Soon!

Yesterday was my rest day and we decorated the tree and I made a cheesecake for our Christmas caroling party tonight. Then we went and watched a terrible hockey game. For some reason they seem to play crappy every other game. The coach even called it embarrassing in his post game remarks. This morning was Xtrain Chest, Back and shoulders and now I have a few more things to get ready for the Christmas caroling party. Have a great day!

Pam Waking up with a headache is the worst. I am glad that it went away before you did IMAX 4 and the bonus abs 2. We are used to watching crappy hockey games, it is bad enough watching on TV let along going to the game and paying good money for tickets. Good job on PHA 3. Enjoy decorating your tree.

Victoria was really nice. We lucked out in that it really didn't rain but it was sure windy. We went to Buchart Gardens which was all lit up for Christmas. The theme was the 12 days of Christmas. After walking around there we went for dinner at one of their restaurants. We also walked around Victoria and went to my SIL's parents to exchange Christmas gifts. We got home late Sunday afternoon and then I went to the SPCA volunteer potluck. This morning was LM&R Functional Upper Body. Now I need to get some things done around here.

Pam Great job on XT CBS! Yum cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts. Hopefully your team can turn things around. It is only about a third through the season so maybe they will hit their groove soon.

Cheryl Great job on LM&R FUB! That sounds like a wonderful trip. I love Christmas lights. We don't decorate but I love seeing other people's creativity and hard work on display.

This morning was my lower body weights. I went slow with each exercise to make sure my calf would be ok and it held up. It is still not 100% but maybe 80%. Walking down stairs is when I feel it the most. I also wasn't feeling the best so had to take extra rest. Hoping it is from being that time of the month and not because it is that time of the year with sickness.
