RE: Strategies for getting out of the

HI Brenda
I am 42 and just in the past 2 monthts I have started back to weights I always did lots of cardio thinking this would keep the fat off and then did pushups daily too for core and upper body strength which worked tomaintain my level I was real busy and lots of stress awhile ago so I did cardio cuz that keeps me feeling better when things are stressful but now I can concentrate again and have lots of time so I am doing 3 upper body strength per week ususally PUB or Pure strength I do the BBA and CST in one day then on the other 2 days I do either MIS lowere body or pure strength legs pr PUB lower body I find I like this style because it really seems to just feel hard but I am definitely getting stronger and I like training upper and lower seperately as opposed to say Power hour or Muscle endurance Ialways do at least some cardio daily eithe rtreadmill 3 to 4 miles while watching Regis and Kelley or I do a Cathe video like a long step tape I find as I get older alot of jumping just doesn't feel good so Ijust do not do it but I know the older I get the more the weights help it is juyst hard not think cardio cardio cardio there ares o many good tips on the forum I am by no means an expert I love working out I LOVE eating more so I workout hard and eat what i want I owuld probably see alot better results if I cleaned up the diet but I just hate to deprive myself I do drink at least 2 to 3 gallons of water daily Ok I guess i went on long enough
