Straightening Irons

Not too long ago there was some talk about various straightening irons and some of the more expensive ones being better. I have a cheaper Revlon one and it really doesn't work very well. I don't wear my hair straight very often, but it's nice for a change now and then. Can anyone point me to that post (I can't find it) or tell me what straightening irons you've used that work really well?

Thanks!

Susan

Hi Susan

I know the one with golden surface is good :p This is probably not helping... A friend of mine who is a make-up artist who went to beauty school in Canada and is working at Sephora told me the gold surface iron, but sorry that I don't remember the brand she told me about. BUT, you can go to any Sephora and the sales there are usually very knowledgable. My friend got a lot of training and really knows what she is doing there, though it depends on which Sephora you go to.

Just for your information though, the better straightening iron, the more harm it can do to your hair.

Hey guys,

I'm curious about when you straighten your hair do you put something on it to make it shiny and straight? I have thick and a little frizzy hair.
