Still not sure whether to do 3 or 5 mo. rotation!

I started this week & I still need to decide what I want to do next week - repeat week 1 (5/6 mo.) or move on to week 2(3 mo.).

My main goal is to lean out & define, not so much build muscle, esp. in my thighs since they tend to bulk. A 5or 6 mo. rotation seems ilke the best answer, but it also sounds like such a LONG time to commit...maybe I could do Meso 1 2x, then Mesos 2&3 just once???

What are you guys out there doing?

Any opinions are appreciated!

I started on Monday too and I'm doing the "modified" rotation with 2 weeks on each of the Mesocycle 1 weeks (week 1 twice, then week 2 twice, ...) and then one Mesocycle 2 and 3 as if I were doing the regular 3 1/2 month cycle. My reasoning was because it fit my schedule; I need a break the first week of April and I'm moving at the end of June so I want to be done by then. It seems like a reasonable way to do it and I thought that the extra weeks of Mesocycle 1 would ensure that I was back in the groove with lifting three times a week....
