Stevia

Hi Cathe,

I can't wait to do your new work outs. I just added ME and Cardio and wgts I really enjoy them.

I have a question about Stevia I saw you had made a suggestion about it a while back. I can not find it though. Does it matter what brand? I would be using it for coffee, tea and possibley shakes. I tried to locate it through my local stores but have not found it. I purchased some on line but just wondering about flavor and brand.

Thanks.

If you go to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, Stevia is NOT in the sugar isle. It's in the supplement isle. I have not been able to find it at any regular grocery store--only health food stores (i.e. TJ's and Whole Foods).

I get my stevia from King Soopers. In their baking aisle they have a tiny natural/organic baking section with Red Mill stuff, agave nectar, stevia, etc. That's where I got mine from.

Hi Roxy28! Do you have a Wegmans by you? I got mine there. The "less bitter" version in the form of a powder.

Good Luck!

All our regular supermarkets that have a health food section carry it here... Kroger, Randalls, Albertons if you have those in your area- I like the powder as well.

Stevia really upsets my stomach. If you have not used it before, you might want to buy a smaller amount the first time.

Thanks for all the replies. I didn't know it was a kind of bitter, or that it can upset stomach. Thats why you guys are here. Thanks!

Hi, I like SweetLeaf Stevia Plus. It has some added fiber. And this brand is not bitter at all.
Remember Stevia is sweeter than regular sugar, so you don't need a lot of it.
