"Squeeze" It!

Cathlete
I apologize ahead of time if this subject has been beaten to death.
But I just had to comment on how much I enjoyed this hour long workout. I was not bored (hello expensive Fluidity Bar workout, who is STILL charging my card, but that is another story)and I really, really liked Tracey. I can actually see myself doing this at least twice a week, unlike the Fluidity Bar workout, I liked it at first but then quickly lost interest for some reason.

I like very few exercise instructors, hate the chirpy types with chirpy voices, Tracey was terrific, plus she has a beautiful, womanly type body that I can relate to. I adore Cathe and aspire to once again be as lean and defined as she is--but again, another story altogether...

The exercises in Squeeze were unique and kept me motivated and interested, and best of all, nothing "hurt" me in a bad way, making this a perfect workout for those of us with "physical" limitations!:7 Plus, I can see myself taking this along when I travel, you don't have to use the dumbells or ball to get a good burn goin' on!

Thanks for letting me share.

RE: Squeeze

I really like Squeeze also and I like Tracey. There are several options on the DVD so you can have variety. I did a fairly intense lower body workout this week and felt it the next day. Substituted it for Cathe's Pyramid LB in the June rotation because I just didn't feel up to the weights and yet I felt like I got a good workout.

I love this workout too. I just received it this past week, and I found that it is the perfect workout to do when I don't feel like doing a super tough workout (but still want to get an effective workout). Tracey is great...I hope she makes more workouts soon!

RE:

I love this workout as well. I am at the end of my first P90X rotation and I have been adding it to my leg day for the past 3 weeks. I am doing a lower body/ab mix that I love! I am looking forward to doing it at least 2x per week in my next rotation. I like Tracey and I think that she looks fantastic too.

RE:

Jen, I talked with Tracy via email recently, and she said there is another Squeeze that focuses on the lower body coming in the future. and mentioned she is in the process of locating a filming crew. ;-)

I too love the Squeeze concept. :)

RE:

I am not good at copy/paste things but over at VF there is a mix that Fuzzy put together using all the components of Squeeze. It is called Fuzzy's Squeeze Workout. Doing it this way is quite a challenge. It is said to be a Killer.

Warm up (Full Body Blast) 2:00
Waist (Full Body Blast) 3:35
Legs (Full Body Blast)5:00
Legs (Power) 4:30
The L (Full Body Blast) 6:00
Pretzel (Custom) 4:25
Fold Over (Custom) 5:50
Bun/Thighs (Power) 3:45
Windshield (Custom) 3:50
Flat Abs (Custom) 6:30
Final Stretch (Full Body Blast) 3:20

According to Fuzzy, this contain 30 min of Lower Body, 2x more than Full Body.

I haven't tried it yet, but will soon. }(

RE:

Thanks for posting that mix from VF. That's the premix I've been doing. I did change it a little b/c it was easier to stay in power squeeze and do the next segment rather than chapter to the next segment in full squeeze. I believe that the person who made up the original mix copied it to a tape so it flows well for her. I also added one leg segment and stretch segment to it. I can't remember which ones, but I'll post it if anyone would like it. It is a great premix.

RE:

That would be great Shirl, thanks!:7

I am happy to report my triceps are killing me this AM and I feel a slight soreness in my lower half too--thanks Tracey! Those pulses she does remind me of Cathe's exercises with the band}( Youch!

I think the more I do this workout, the better I will be able to focus on squeezing the working muscles, its hard the first time through to get everything down. Oh, and my abs are sore--that never happens unless I do the P90x Ab Ripper or one of Cathe's marathon ab workouts!:7

RE:

is the workout standing or floor or both? right now i cannot do any standing upper or lower body'

laura

RE:

Both, but I wonder if you could do (with the exception of the standing leg work) on the floor? Take a peek at the video preview and see what you think. I ordered mine at collagevideo.com.

RE:

I just did "Squeeze" for the first time yesterday, the full workout.
Yeow! Who knew that 3# weights could feel so tough? (No wonder Tracey uses 2#!)

My shoulders were burning! Along with my inner thighs and triceps (though back and biceps felt a bit short-changed...I think it would be good to alternate this workout with a back/bicep workout, or at least back, or to add on a set of bar pull-ups---I have a Fluidity Bar as well).

I expected massive DOMS today, but so far, just some slight tricep stiffness...however, the day is still young, and I haven't hit 24 hours yet, LOL!

I didn't find any of the moves risky, except for that very low squat with butt-to-knees, which I didn't do (I just did a higher pulse) and will never do.

I really like the instructor: anyone who can constantly repeat "squeeze, and squeeze...." and not be annoying has something going for her.

RE:

I just now ordered the presale and Squeeze it. Jeesh.

I just can't resist a workout that everyone loves. So I ordered.

Can hardly wait for Cathe's workout too. I have every workout she has ever made.

The idea is to die young as late as possible

RE: tneah - Squeeze lower body and ab mish mosh

I did this yesterday and it was tough while I was doing it, but my lower body feels fine today. Probably because she stretches after most segments.

1. warm-up - FBS
2. waist - FBS
3. legs - FBS
4. the L - FBS
5. buns & thighs - FBS
6. lower body stretch - FBS (it follows the 1st leg segment in FBS)
7. legs - PS
8. the pretzel - PS
9. abs - PS
10. buns & thighs - PS
11. fold over plank - CS
12. windshield washer & thighs - CS
13. flat abs - CS
14. stretch - FBS

I hope you like it. I like fuzzie's(from VF) mix too, I just did't feel like chaptering from FBS to PS and CS one day and I came up with this. It's about 40 minutes maybe a little longer, I've never timed it. Have a great day!
