Good morning all,
Yesterday I did LL from beginning to end for the first time since January. With modifications, of course, and with two 12-lb. DB's instead of Cathe's 35-lb. BB. I did well until the hover squats. By the time they did lunges, I could only do a set of 16 reps for each leg and with a pair of 10-lb. DB's in my hands. I was able to do the first set of plies, but after all those low ends, I did the second set on the floor (instead of against the wall) without weight.
So today I have this wonderfully horrid sore in my thighs and glutes and a milder sore in my calves. For some reason my hamstrings are fine. I used a pair of 15-pounders for them. The best part: my knees are okay. My PT friend's advice worked well for me.
Today will be upper body. It's a toss-up between PS and CTX-UB split, but I'm leaning more towards PS.
Have a great week everybody.
