Speaking of Legs & Glutes...

I just did this one for the first time in months. It was my first Cathe workout and also in the bag of workouts that I ***LOST*** on my work travels - ugh. Anyway, I waited a long time to reorder because I knew that it would resurface once I spent the $$ on replacing it (and the others).

For me, L&G is fun and an incredibly effective workout WITHOUT the hindrance of constant equipment changes. I realized when I was done that what I dread about leg workouts is the constant swapping of weights on the bar. I know that may sound silly to some, but it is just one of those things that gets on my last nerve. It takes too much time and interrupts the workout flow for me. So I love that I didn't have to do that.

Also, my legs felt like jelly afterwards. }(

I'm supposed to do MIC hi/lo on the rebounder later, but we'll see if I can make it happen! :7

Marie, you are not alone with not liking to do the weight changes constantly...such as in PLB.

I have three barbells that I can preload with weights. Two are the Troy Lite set and one I got free from a friend. I also have a 15 and a 27 pound body bar. I like the body bar much more for lunges/squats because they are bigger around and cushioned...they don't dig into my shoulder's like the weighted barbell does.

I have spent alot of money on exercise equipment over the years...but it's all about conveinence for me and as you know, it is extremely inconveinent to have to be constantly changing out weights during a workout.

When I do a workout that I have to switch up the weights, I usually use a mix of dumbbells and barbells. And if I have to go up say, 5 or 10 lbs, I just slide ankle weights onto my wrists. I'm not exactly fond of the changes, either!

Yes... I sometimes find it annoying to constantly change the weight! Add more, take off more, pause the DVD....x( And I also loooove L&G! It's still my ultimate leg-workout:p

L&G is the ONLY Cathe leg workout guaranteed to totally kick my butt (literally) - and I have GS Legs and Leaner Legs - and do them often as well. I love a variety of the exercises and it's just plain fun. I HATE leg presses, but even those are tolerable in this... You get them out of the way fast...

40something....I'm fairly new to the entire CAthe phenomenon, but I'm hooked! I have a 12lb bodybar and an 18lb bodybar (or imitation that I got at sports authority). I would love to get a 27lb one. I too don't relish the idea of changing weights on a weighted barbell and have not even purchased one yet (the gym store was out of the clips at the time I went). Where can I buy this 27 lb one? I've never seen higher than 18 lbs, which i'm using now and really isn't heavy enough anymore. Thanks!
