I read the posts about seeing the Batman movie (also a big fan of the mysterious man in the batsuit) and wondered if anyone read the article about the star in People magazine last week.
He talked about how he dieted to lose ONE THIRD of his bodyweight, getting down to less than 100 lbs. to play some drug user or something in a movie, and then how he bulked up in a matter of months to play Batman. Someone starring with him said that when he first found out this guy (can't remember his name!) was going to play Batman, he thought, "oh, he's too thin to pull it off" and then when he showed up for filming, he was like a body-builder.
This is what I wonder: how do these stars manage to alter their bodies in 3 months when I've been hacking away at mine for 3 years and still only have a couple less lbs. and a little muscle to show for it. I'm not actually bitter, just wondering how extreme their regimes must be! Isn't this sort of thing hard on your heart?
just idle ramblings on a Sunday night
