Somebody PINCH ME!!!......

I am wearing a size 6 today!!! AND My Medium tops are a bit TOO BIG!!!! I cannot believe it!!!! I was a 12 in July... and I"ve been teetering between an 8 and a 10 since then.. and I dunno, maybe its the style of pants.. but... I pulled them out of the closet and dusted them off.. and they went right ON!!! I wore an old tank top (from last summer) for my workout today.. and I couldnt' keep the straps up!!!! I haven't been anywhere near a 6 since my first dd was born!!! and after she was born I was a 18!!!! What an AWSOME feeling... and after a NOT so clean eating weekend ta boot!!! I just had to share, I'm so excited.. and have all of you to thank, for giving me the support I've needed to do this!!!! WOW!!!
 
Jillie, Yippee Yippee . I'm so happy for you .You did it !!! Awsome . Your sizes match up with my sizes LOL .I thought that was interesting LOL ... Strut your stuff forsure !!!
 
Details?? Well I've had to improvise, Cardio is tuff for me, but I KNEW I needed it. I have athsma so I kept having to take breaks right as I reached my target heart-rate, and knew that wasn't doing me any good. So believe it or not, On the days where my athsma is being a putz, I combine several warm up's only, like the warm ups in, S&H, KPC..etc..that way it wasn't too much, but I did these combined warm ups for at least 45 min, it kept my heart rate up, but didn't stress my lungs like doing the entire KPC. Then I Incorporate some sort of weights, I love Pyrimid upper, and Legs and shoulders, then I'll do 15-20min abs, then a "cool down" stretch. However since really tweaking my cardio, I've really noticed a difference. I HATE to admit it, but cardio IS the key!!
My diet?? LMAO.. NOT even close to as clean as it needs to be BUT MUCH cleaner than it was...Most of the time I eat salads and some sort of chicken.. I LOVE food, and often find myself eating for "comfort" or because I'm board, I have a HUGE sweet tooth. So changing my diet has been difficult to say the least. The biggest change in my diet has been cutting out the "junk" and empty carbs for better things. I still have a TON to learn as far as my diet goes, but I do know if I BURN the calories I eat.. I may not lose weight, but I wont gain either, that way, I don't beat myself up too badly on my "bad eating days"..
 
Hey Jillie....great job!!! Just think every time you get some cardio in, you are strengthening those lungs along with the rest of you!! And gradually you will be able to do more and more as those lungs get used to the activity. I'm asthmatic too.....when I was a kid they told us asthmatics not to do any cardio, so therefore I grew up to be a very out of shape person. But, now after a good three years working with Cathe I can get through an hour of cardio,maybe a little more out of breath than some of the others here....but I still can do it!!
