So, who's starting P90X 01/01/07????

I know there was lots of talk about P90X and a fresh beginning for January 1st. I, for one, am excited to do this. I previewed Shoulders & Back and Core Syn. I'm a bit frightened by all the push ups and pull ups, but I'm game for a good change.

So...........who's starting Jan 1st with me???

Well, I wish it was me but 2 snowstorms since last week means mine won't be delivered until Jan.2!!!:( I am so bummed. DH ordered it for Christmas and Beachbody actually shipped it the 19th ... I figured if it was late it would be BB issues, but this one's out of everyone's hands.

I did do the fit test this morning, but I was hoping to spend Christmas Day reading over all the material. Maybe I can join you 2 days behind...?!!
 
Me! I am so excited, I got it for Christmas along with a HRM and a chin-up bar. I had to order the extention for the bar though because we have the extra wide doors.

We gotta party going on 120 folks starting that day - well some of us (like me) cheated and started a little early!

There's the big party over at MDB and one of the guys started a new forum - it's about 70 folks strongs - guys and gals (due to the moderated posting)

I completed round 1 in Nov - did a 5 week rotation and am back for round 2!

I don't post much over here anymore but was lurking over here I saw this thread so wanted to say Welcome!

You are welcome to join our Xers checkin on the check in forum. We have people starting phases 2&3 and I think some starting phase 1 too.

I started yesterday because my week gets insane & I need to have my rest day on Friday. This is going to be my second rotation-first at the Classic. I'm very psyched about the results I achieved with the lean & can't wait to see how my body transforms with the classic rotation!
 
You can count me in. Although I alreaday started on Tuesday, December 26th. I ordered mine from ebay so I don't have any of the worksheets or additional materials, just the dvd's. I'm working on creating my own worksheets.

If anyone has an electronic copy of the P90X worksheets and would be willing to share them with me, my email is [email protected].

Looking forward to seeing some real results with this rotation.

hubby and i started.... however we're going to skip this week's rest day so that next week we start on sunday... making saturday our rest day (we kinda messed up and forgot to start yesterday!)

I was supposed to start today but I am putting it off until Friday because that works out better for me...

Hey everybody! I am checking in at the Xers check in, but wasn't sure if there was a separate one for those of us starting NOW???? I actually started today instead of my planned Monday start. Hangover....what can I say? LOL.

Are you guys checking in anywhere?

Hey ..

Starting today .. YIKES .. I am scared .. I HATE push ups .. but looking forward to maybe improving on that ..

I have tried to look for a way to do the classic or lean program .. but the only way I can do the program is my own way .. LOL .. {sounds like trouble already} .. I am going try to follow it loosely b/c of my classes I teach .. problem is I work a regular 8- 5 job ..then teach a fitness class every night after work .. :eek:

so my plan is ... going to do P90x at lunch instead of my regular weight work at the gym at lunch .. then teach my class at night (working whatever can move by then) ... then have Friday as my rest day .. and weekend do either the p90X yoga or a Cathe workout (depending on what muscles are not screaming at me) .. I hope to have good results .. but want to be careful not to overtrain!

Good luck to all that are going to be taking on this challenge .. I am both scared and excited!!!:7
 
Hey Guys.... If you want to come over to X'ers jump right in... We think of Gayle as a regular already!
The check in isnt changing focus /direction at all... Those of us in Phase 3 are talking about starting a Strength Focus Check In after P90X because we dont want to fall into old excess cardio habits. X'ers will remain true to P90X.
