So, what's everyone up to this weekend?

Watch movies and eat pizza with hubby tonight. Put up Christmas decorations while listening to my new Keith Urban CD tomorrow (long story...but really, putting them up this weekend will only be about 1 1/2 weeks earlier than usual for me). And yes, even though it hit 77 degrees today...I'm still putting them up!!!

Not sure what we'll do tonight - either hang out at home as I'm exhausted or go out to eat somewhere. Tomorrow it's B&G for the first time, then off to the gym to try to prevent DOMS with the elliptical. Then it's out to dinner with his boss and wife (wonderful people). Sunday is hang out in the garage (yes garage) and watch football. It's DH's room. In between games, I'll go grocery shopping and make up some meals. Chili sounds good as it's supposed to be rainy and miserable this weekend.

Well, I STILL don't have my Cathe workouts, so I guess I won't be trying any of those.

Tomorrow is swimming and music for DD, then some errands, then maybe out for dinner.

Sunday we get to go loot bag shopping for her party next weekend:)

I will be working this weekend and *trying* to sleep through the airshow that will be flying over my house all weekend!!!x( x( x(

I took my son to see Flushed Away last weekend, it was really cute. This weekend we are going out to buy the Christmas tree I've been eyeing, it's on sale, yay. Is it too early to put it up? My SO says so. Lol.

Hi Kathryn -

I use to volunteer at an animal shelter. It was so rewarding and I only took one home with me. She was ferrel found in a dumpster (had to have her teeth taken out) they at first thought she was foaming at the mouth. Now she is a lap cat and ONLY goes back into ferrel mode when we had construction going on.

I'm empty nest next year so trying to plan all sorts of rewarding things to do next year. Thanks for reminding me about how much I liked this!

Stay warm!

I quit my part-time job last weekend, so I'm looking forward to having a whole weekend to do whatever I want! I've been reading this Fantasy genre series by George R.R. Martin, and I'm hoping to get some good reading time in on book 2 today while it's rainy outside. Of course, I've planned to exercise - did 50 minutes of BM2 this morning, and thinking about doing B&G with some DM tomorrow. And I have to watch my hometown boys, the Indianapolis Colts, tomorrow as they take on the Bills at home! Other than that, I've got some errands to run, some chores to do, and we're making lasagna tonight!

Busy busy busy!

Christmas decorations are up (simple and not a lot of stuff) and we always get our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Now, off to do Drill Max!!!

Hmmm, started with prayer and finished reading my book. Worked out down town, then to Trinity Cathedral (Episcopal Church) Bazaar. Found some great bargins! Watched the Clemon/NC State Game. Clemson won. My alum school, Newberry College, had a perfect record until today. They lost against our rivilary, Presbyterian College. Watched a few minutes of that game. Saw part of the USC-South Carolina/Florida game. Then watched my 10 year old son play football-Bucaneers--they lost to the Bengals (3 of his friends play on that team). Listened to the USC/Florida game during that time. Then Dave took my 12 year old Katie to a 1980's party.
Came home in the nick of time to finish watching the last 2 minutes of the USC/Florida game. USC lost. Then took Katie's t-shirt, they were listeing to "Let It Whip"-dont know if was Devo or the other band. Checked email, look at YAYA Swap, eBay and Video of Fitness.
Andrew has second game tonight, Dave took him, I watched last Sunday's Desperate Housewives. Now on the way to pick up Katie from party and finish watching Andrew's second game....
Ya just had to ask, didn't ya :)

Only one? (3 of my current 5 are from the shelter...I HAD intended to stick with 3, but things change!).

It is hard sometimes to see the cats that are there for a long time and worry that they might not get a home (not because they are ill or mean or too old...just because there's not enough love in the world for them!). I try to focus on the positive (giving them some TLC they need) and ignore the negatives.
