so...road trippers... who's your roomie???

I don't have a roomie either....I am looking forward to having my own space for a few hours.

I live with four men (hubby and 3 boys ages 20, 17, 16), and the thought of using the toilet without having to put the seat down first is just beyond words! My world here is VERY crowded!

I am driving out with Susan, aka SCM and I am very much looking forward to that. I am sure we will get to know each other well on the drive down. It will be about a 3 1/2 hour drive for us.

Also, we will be spending so much time together as a group...I am sure we will be chatting away into the wee hours of the morning, so when I go back to my solitary room, it will be just fine.

I honestly still can't believe I am doing this...can't wait to meet all of you!

Glad to hear you will be driving such a long distance with someone. You and Susan will definitely get to know one another well.

When I lived in Virginia, I drove down to Columbia, SC with a VFer (WWWendy) to attend the very first FIRM road trip. Would you believe I met our very own Brenda there (before she knew that our Wee Leader, Cathe, had a gym right down the street from her)!!!

Oh Bobbi.....I REALLY wish you were coming:-( I always get such a kick out of your posts!! But I am sure you will get a kick out of Jes's camcorder documentary (if she doesn't spend all her time chasing me down that is!!):7 :7 Wish we could take our road trip down to you!

I'm meeting Shelley in Chicago next summer when I go visit my mom. Want to come? If there's a road trip, I'll be looking for a woman with a lime hatted cat in Jersey, if not, hello Chicago! I will be with you in spirit and I am so excited for you guys but I must put out that crying smilie. You understand. ;)

Oh wow Bobbi, I will be in Chicago at the end of this month!! What part of Chicago does your mom live? I'll be visiting my cousin who lives in Hyde Park.....LOVE Chicago, it's such a fun town!! By the way I'll be meeting Dani(dani21496) there for the first time, I'm so excited!
 
My mom lives in Lakeside, Michigan and I can take the train form Michigan City, Indiana and be there in a couple of hours. I spend a long weekend on Lakeshore Drive every summer with my kids. I am dumping them for Shelley as soon as I can! That means two trips to Chicago next summer! Oh, joy!
