So, non-Roadtrippers....

What fun, exciting things can we do while they're all off hobnobbing with Cathe and the crew?

*sigh*

Anyone else feel lousy that they're not going? :-(

um, paint the house and watch it dry???? Sneak into the hotel and short sheet all the beds ????}( }( }(

Well, I only live a couple hours away, so I suppose I could drive down there and stalk them. Mwah-ha-ha-ha. <--that's supposed to be an evil laugh.

But seriously, I'm going to have to get my husband to take me shopping this weekend to make up for it. I will focus on getting cute clothes for my now smaller figure and try not to think about all the fun going on a couple hours down the road....

Yeah, hon, whatever helps you keep it together.
P.S. No intention to offend, Lainie. The b1tch in me is escaping in all directions tonight}(

Hi Marla and Shelly, another 2005 roadtripper checking in. I had my chance this time, but gave up my spot.

Marla, looking back at your pictures sure does bring back the excitement of it all.

I hope they post pictures up again during the roadtrip like they did the last time.

Honestly? No.

As much as I love the people here, and would love to meet them, large crowds are one of my worst nightmares. I actually cannot imagine how anyone could enjoy being part of such a large crowd.

I love hearing about it, though, and can't wait to see the pics and hear the stories. :D

I've never been...I'm scared to go, so I wasn't planning on it this time so I wasn't bummed when it sold out so fast. But I am bummed I'm not going...does that make sense??
I hope everyone has fun, and that they do blog updates of the trip.
But yes, now that it is close at hand I feel like I'm a kid and Christmas is passing me by....

Shelley - we're thinking of you -
what if you look at the RT schedule and follow along with
the workouts--you can at least be as worn out }(

Early birds are here...16 of us this evening; Ready to take on Cathe's Friday morning class!

First group shots: Early Birds I, II on PT album

I'm with you, Nancy! I hate crowds and I would be inclined to sneak away to get some time to myself. Do I feel lousy? Nope - I could not have gotten in to sign up during those first 3 minutes anyway, so there's nothing I could do about it.

RE: So, non-Roadtrippers...Shelley we're thinking of y....

Shellers,

What about our conference call?

DF and I have to paint the garage and the front door (doesn't that just sound like such fun?! Especially with temps here in the 100's). Then, as if that weren't fun enough, I have to work on chapters one and three of my dissertation. Gee, what a weekend!

I am going to make DF take me out for some shopping. I am also going to make him take me for Korean food. Some sudubu chigae/tofu soup and kimchee chun/kimchee pancakes (okay, it's hard to transliterate Korean) always put me in a good mood! :)

ETA:

I don't feel "lousy" but I do wish I could go. :( More to get together with everybody I have "met" since I've been on here (and to w/o with Cathe, of course). I will just plan on trying to go to the next one. Also, because the kids come back next Monday, I have too much going on at work and could have never taken the time off to go.

RE: So, non-Roadtrippers...Shelley we're thinking of y....

I really really wish I was there. Oh well...

My job is crazy right this very minute and I am swamped. I leave Sunday for a conference, so my weekend will consist of packing and working overtime to get my crap done!;(

RE: So, non-Roadtrippers...Shelley we're thinking of y....

I super bummed, too x( :-( I can't wait to start seeing pics, etc.

I will be working a lot, going to a wedding, anniversary and BBQ while trying to catch up on workouts and rest. I'm tired just thinking about it all. ;-)

Marcia.

Would have loved to have been there but at least I'm spending the weekend with friends, eating, drinking, playing table tennis }( and just generally hanging out. Weather forecast is good so we'll be able to spend lots of time outdoors. I won't have time to think about the RT but I'm looking forward to seeing the photos.

I wish I were going for sure, but no, I can't say that I feel lousy. I'm really happy for those who get to go.

I'll be hosting a birthday party for my nephew who'll be 14. He's here visiting from Pittsburgh. We're having a back yard barbecue and I've ordered a chocolate layer cake with chocolate buttercream icing -- his favorite}( :9

Nope, I don't feel bummed out or anything. I love all the excitement here from people who are going though!

I'll be doing Cathe workouts, of course. And I'm going to take the plunge and start training that darned horse of mine. In 102 degree heat. That should give me at least as good a workout as anything Cathe can come up with!

No, not really. Like Nancy said, I love talking with everyone at the forum, but there's a reason I choose to exercise at home.

We could all do the same workout and then go get pedicures??????!!!!!! Sacrifice that it is, I'd do that for you guys!}(
