Wendy-what time were you up? I saw your post at 1:30 am last nite my time.:eek:

when were all done with STS we should follow you on one of your rotations.:D

so excited to start week 4,infact I have the dvd playing rite now so I now what to expect :) Have a great Sunday Ladies!
 
We've had 3 days of major storms and my DS was at a Boy Scout Camp for most of them. I was a bit scared for him with all of the lightning, hail and high winds. He got home today soggy but ok.
I was so draggy today and couldn't get up to do a workout during the storms and then the sirens went off. North Minneapolis got hit with a tornado. The damage is extensive but nothing like what's happened to Joplin, Missouri.
I'm saying my prayers tonight for those who are suffering tonight.
I'm also pledging to go give blood Tuesday when I have the day off. I hate doing it but I'm O Positive. It's the least I can do.

Morning.

I didn't fall asleep until after midnight last night and was up at 4:45 so you can imagine how I'm feeling right now. :(

This morning was supposed to be D22 (C/S/T) but I was starting my work out late as it was and knew having to set up the tower would only make me later so I did just shoulders and tri's and ending having just enough time afterwards for KCM's TLC Cardio Express (15 mins). :)

Terina:: I was up at 5:30 on saturday morning and just before 6 on Sunday. Pretty sad to be up that early on w/e when ya don't have to be huh? :rolleyes: Wow, almost done with M1! Time sure flew! Enjoy that active recovery week! You are gonna need it! ;) So you wanna follow me on my next rotation huh? *insert devil smiley here!*

Colleen:: Glad your son rode out the storms safely. So sad about the devistation mother nature is causing all around the globe lately. So many foks in need will thank you for donating blood. Awesome thing to do to help. :)

Wendy, I still have my sleep issues but I find my mix of 3mg melatonin, 100mg 5HTP,a natural food based adrenal support with herbs, calcium/magnesium, ear plugs AND new age music, AND meditation is helping. :eek: kinda' of a lot of stuff but I've experimented and if I don't' take my "sleep" cocktail I only get 2 hours of sleep. I hope you get the rest you need. What would your workouts be like if you got more sleep? :eek::eek::eek:

Colleen:: Thankfully my sleep issues are intermittent. This is the first really bad night I've had in a while. *knock on wood* My FIL sleeps about 2 hours a night all the time. It's just the way his body is. He functions fine too. I think it's somehow all the sleep he requires. :eek:
 
Colleen-Im glad to hear your son is safe. what crazy weather.

I got good sleep last night. YAY!

This morning I did chest only from D22 and Cardio Core Express Circuit premix. It was killer! :eek::)

Weight is pretty much holding steady as of this morning which is absolutely fine but I do hope to log that last .5# loss by Friday in order to meet my goal! :D Fingers crossed!!!;)

Terina:: Well I am going to extend my STS rotation out an additional 2 months so you won't have to worry about following a rotation of mine until the end of summer/beginning of fall! ;) Great job with D10! WTG!
 
Good Morning.

I have chest DOMS as expected today. :D

This morning I did STS D24 Biceps only and bumped up the weight more then normal again since I was doing it solo. GREAT w/o! I expect some DOMS in the bi's tmrw now! ;) I also did 1/2 of JM's 6 week 6 pack w/o #2 which is a cardio/core-ab circuit that is repeated 2x so I did the circuit once and then finished it off with STS' Extended Stretch. Aaaah-felt good. :)

finished disk 35 today ... my 3 1/2 month STS is finished. This was my third time since my surgery 3 years ago.
I'm going to do cardio & abs and stretches for a week.
Terina, it's weird but you'll do all those push ups in meso 1 and then bye bye push ups.
I gave blood tonight so I kept my pledge.
Wendy what should I do next? It feels odd to be done.

OH BOY! I forgot to check in yesterday
Yesterday I did Rythmic Step, it was a challange again,I thought I'll just do combo one but ended up doing all 3 but not the challange. This is another one that I like this workout too! But then again I don't think Cathe has a workout that I don't like.
Today disc 11,wow! it got tuff at one point.
monday when I did disc 10 I tried without her music and tried to use my own,but that was a bad idea.....lol what a difference without background music.

Colleen-yay no push ups in meso 2:D.......but I was just getting stronger with push ups:eek:

The bicep DOMS arrived in a timely fashion and there's plenty of it. ;)

Got D24 back work done this morning but nothing else. BOOH. It's okay though. I am still on track to finish M2 tmrw and that's what's most important right now! :D

Colleen:: Good job finishing STS again! You rock!

Terina:: You are chuggin' right along and with my plans to add 2 additional months of STS on to my rotation you will probably finish your rotation before I finish mine as well!
 
Today I did the step portion premix of Intensity and only half of the hiit high impact. I just couldn't finish. I'm a wimp cardio wise.
So much for active rest. I'm beat.:p

Looking forward to an incredible week off. Next Saturday or Sunday I got 1 rep max test to do for Meso 2.

Congratulations Terina on having completed meso 1. For some reason that was the hardest one for me. I think it's because the changes were so fast between exercises.
I did Cardio Circuit yesterday and 3 hours of yard work the day before. This is my rest week before I commit to a different rotation. Can't decide between Cathe's May or new June rotation. Both look good.
Hi to Wendy. Has Gayle moved on to a different group?
 
MMA Boxing today, Hiit Low Impact & abs & stretch yesterday with a few hours of planting. I have a few more just cardio or light weight daysfor my rest week and then I start a new rotation.
I'm committing to losing 10lbs this summer. Lose the 5# which I gained since last April and 5# to reach my goal weight. So there. It's now public.

So I did D23 Legs + my own ab work on Friday morning before leaving for the weekend to complete M2! Woo hoo!

Sat/Sun while OOT I rested.

Y'day afternoon I did Imax Extreme.

Today will be cardio and abs of choice.

Terina:: Congrats on completing M1! That went fast!:D

Colleen:: Gayle refers to herself as a "drop out" of this check in on FB. She just wasn't good at getting here on a consistent basis so she finally gave up trying. :p
 
Today I was going for a walk but it's rainy/sunny. So I'll do something when kids leave. Maybe a yoga workout?

Good Morning.

Interval Max 1-3-5-7-9 + abs from KCM NYC Body Sculpting this morning for me.

Weigh in has me back down to not this past but LAST Friday's weigh in weight which is great! This mean the possibility for a loss this week is definitely there! Fingers crossed! ;)

Terina:: My weekend away was awesome! Sooo much fun! Gambling, shopping, eating, drinking and just getting to hang out with the people I love and a few of which I don't see nearly as often as I'd like to! :) Got to get dressed up and show off all of my hard work too! ;)

Colleen:: Hope all is well!
