Good Morning!

Today's work out was KCM NYC Body Sculpting lower body only premix + LIC's step combos and blasts, KCM's Circuit Burn non boxing cardio x 2 and abs. It took about an hour and was a good burny sweat! :D

My neck is still not 100% though getting better all the time! Hoping to start M3 this coming weekend! Fingers crossed!

Wendy was today's workout part of your rest week? Wow. How do you program the various workouts to make it one workout?:cool: What's KCM?
I'm was supposed to do KPC today but I'm short on time so might have to substitute. I'm doing Cathe's May rotation so DB Wave was Sat. and Circuit Blast was yesterday.
Ternia, I don't know what the Cardio Quick Fix Option is. Fill me in.
 
Colleen:: Technically my active recovery ended Friday. I was supposed to start M3 Saturday but with my neck issues, I couldn't. Still not 100% so I am waiting it out. Hope to start this weekend but in the meantime I am doing body weight work to get SOME kind of resistance training in. I don't program anything. It's called switching dvds. :p When did you start the May rotation? Good luck with it! What's it's focus?

I did a premix 44min. of Step Blast today. Ran out of time before my class for the whole workout.
May '11 rotation is " alternating weeks of lower intensity with weeks of higher intensity exercise. Week one and week three will be lower intensity while weeks two and four will be higher intensity. Each week offers a mixture of cardio, core work, muscular strength and muscular endurance workouts" I started it last Thursday.
And I"m so hungry lately. I don't know what's going on. I may have to do WW even if it costs $ I can't seem to get my eating under control.

Colleen-Im right there with you and the eating thing. I just had a bowl of pasta and my sweet tooth(which was really never there all my life) popped up and then I had to have a piece of a brownie:eek: now I feel yucky!!!!!!:mad: Great going on your May rotation.
This is the "quick fix rotation" that I found on the STS CARDIO ROTAION.:D


Option 4….CARDIO QUICK FIX….20 minutes in length (perfect as is or can be added on to another cardio workout)

……..1 minute Jumping Jacks
……..1 minute of stair climbing in house (if no steps, do steps ups, 20 per leg on a 12 inch step height)
……..1 minute jump rope (don’t have to use a rope but do the movement as such)
……..1 minute jog or shuffle in place while arms pump up and down
………1 minute front/back kicks (30 seconds the right leg kicks front and left leg kicks back then switch legs for the remaining 30 seconds)

Repeat all 5 of these one minute activities for a total of 4 times to equal 20 minutes.

Todays workout was so good! I noticed more strength in triceps and shoulders =) my 1rep max had me for 5lbs for shoulders but I could of done 6lbs,and for 1 arm kick backs I used 8lbs :eek:. The workout went by so fast and the one thing that I thought was the coolest is when Cathe finished 1st before the gang when doing TF.:D

Colleen:: Enjoy the rotation you are doing. WW is fab and working wonderfully for me! My official weigh in isn't until Friday but as of this morning I've reached and am BELOW my initial weight loss goal! I am thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
 
I'll copy that Quck Fix too. I need to go out of town to help my Mom while she has surgery from the 20th to the 29th. I'm working out what to do for workouts while I'm gone. I have quite a few no equipment downloads from Cathe's presale's so I have those but I'll add on the QF!
Today was Core Cardio Circuits and although I have AC it was 103 degrees today and 100 yesterday. I'm not used to it. It was a pretty wimpy workout but I made myself do it. :D
Tomorrow KPC and then a rest day.

BM2 premix time saver cardio was a killer! Cathe should rename it to "killer premix":D I felt so out of shape:eek:
This is a good butt kicker. I like it :D

I had to do my workout this evening because this morning I had no energy, I took an hr and half nap be4 kids came :D

This morning I tried something different. I did a Body Rock work out! :eek: It's a 20 min interval cardio work out which is done tabata style. 20 secs of work/10 secs of rest. 5 different exercises done for 8 rounds in a row. Do one 8 x then move on to the next. At first I was thinking it wasn't so tough but by the middle of the 2nd exercise I had changed my mind! :eek::D;) I followed that up with step from LIS but no blasts and finally all 3 ab segments from BBC's Back and Shoulders work out. Good stuff! :)

Colleen:: Prayers and best wishes going out to your mom for a successful surgery and speedy recovery! I hope it's nothing too serious!!!

Terina:: Good job! I find BM2 to be tough as well! :eek: Thanks re my "gun show" on FB. LOL ;)

quick check in, disc 14 this morning. I can already feel my lower body coming on with DOMS:) Even with my weights for this disck I found myself going heavier. Im going to buy me wrist weights. I didn't think I needed them but last 2 days proved that its a good investmen.:D

So I allowed these crazy chicks in one of my other check ins to talk me into doing Body Rock's 600 rep fat burner work out this morning. :eek::eek::eek: is all I can say about it! LOL I didn't start in time to finish the entire thing but did manage to get 510 reps done in an hour. Next time I will give myself more time so I can finish it ALL. ;)

Terina:: Anything that allows you to bump up your weight loads in small increments is helpful through STS, especially as you get stronger and start lifting heavier. You WILL need to use those wrist weights before you are done with the rotation. I promise! ;) Be warned-Body Rock is NOT for the faint of heart so it's PERFECT for a Cathelete! :D
 
This morning it was step blast. Did all 3 segments and part of blast challenge :(. I was wiped out..... Legs are SO feeling yesterday's workouts.

Wendy- I checked out body rock I've watched her videos before she is one ripped gal. Looks intense. .
 
Life got nuts again. Quick post. KPC yesterday. Rest today.
I picked up some more part time work but it must get done ASAP before I head to my Mom's. I may be gone longer than originally planned.
Tomorrow Circuit Max.
 
Great work outs ladies. TGIF! Rest day for me today. I'm sore from BodyRock and have to start M3 tmrw so I need the break today! Official WW weigh in was today and I made and surpassed my initial goal! YAY! Reset it for another 5# so wish me luck! :)

Hello.

I did my first M3 w/o y'day (D25 chest/back). I really enjoyed it! Not as much as M2 but it was still a goodie! I followed it up with MMA Kickboxing. Together they made for one looong work out but it was fun! Feeling it today a bit in the upper body. Love DOMS! ;)

Today is my first shot at Squat Rack Legs...D37. ASKEERED again! Wish me luck!:D Not sure if cardio is in the cards-depends on how energy draining legs are. I know M2 legs left me nothing extra to put towards cardio so we'll see!

Terina:: You are kickin' azz and takin' names with STS! You go girl!

Colleen:: Hey hope all is well!

ETA: D37 is done and I survived! Even had energy for cardio-CTX Power Circuits cardio but I skipped the kickbox cause I'd had enough. LOL I also replaced the lower body weight training in the step portion with jax, jump rope and hi knees/lo butt kicks. Saw no reason to train the lower body again!:eek: Did the abs as well.

Today was Body Rock 20 min interval cardio (same as last week) + her 500 mountain climbers challenge! :eek:

missed workout yesterday, overate, today need to get High Step workout in and to my sons Scout Troop Court of Honor an hour earlier than I thought it was. And I got 4 hours of sleep last night. I'm going to lie down for a half hour and then get workout done.
I need more hours than 24 in my day.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
