DISNEY ROAD TRIP (JULY 1 - 4TH)
Registration for the Disney Road Trip in Orlando, FL will begin on Friday, Feb 25 at 1pm. Just go to http://cathe.com/roadtrip/disney (this link will not work until 1pm on Friday, Feb 25th) and click on the Register button. Space is limited to the first 150 people to join! A $179.97 non-refundable deposit is required to register.

We will have more information about each road trip posted in our Forums later this week. Keep checking daily for further updates. We’re also working on a third road trip for Chicago hopefully in October, but we have yet to secure and finalize a site.

* registration deposits are nonrefundable for the Glassboro Road Trip. If you cancel your Glassboro Road Trip on or before May 21st you will not be charged your final payment. No refunds will be allowed after May 21st, 2011.

** registration deposits are nonrefundable for the Disney Road Trip. If you cancel your Disney Road Trip on or before April 17th you will not be charged your 2nd payment or 3rd payment. If you cancel your Disney Road Trip after April 17th but before May 17th you will not be charged your 3nd payment, but will forfeit your second payment. After may 17th no refunds will be given.

*** You can include a spouse or your children for a meals only plan at Disney. We will have details of how to do this at a later date.
 
SNM: you mentioned that the prices to add on families for meals would be posted soon. Can you make it an option to add on family members to Monday's dinner and the dessert/fireworks viewing separately from the rest of the meal pkg? (my family is not going to hang around the hotel waiting to eat with me if we are at "the happiest place on earth!!! However, having them join us on Monday night would be fantastic!!)
 
Meals and family add-ons

We're going to make it so you can choose which meals you want to include family members on, whether it be just one meal or all six. Disney likes to do things with the Disney touch and their meals are not cheap, but the quality should be excellent. Disney does give us a discount of 50% off on children ages 3 -9 for events like this, but the price will still not be cheap. We're still awaiting final food contracts from Disney, but we expect them to come in around $400 (our cost) per attendee for all 6 meals. Breakfast will be the cheapest meals while dinners will be the most expensive. Children can be quite picky about what they eat and quite often don't like the same foods as adults. Many younger children also really don't eat very much so even at 50% off the food price may be too pricey.

The great thing about Disney is you're surrounded by places that are all about feeding kids and making them happy. You will have plenty of time to think about your options as we will not be taking any money for family meal add-ons until later on. So, yes you will be able to purchase a meal ticket for just the Monday Dinner and Dessert Party and fireworks Spectacular. Perhaps it might be a good idea for us to also have some pizza or hot dogs this night too for kids? Anyone else have some thoughts on this?
 
I think pizza or chicken nuggets are great options for the kids attending Monday night's dinner. I was planning to bring my husband and son for dinner, dessert and fireworks.

Still trying to find a place that will fit our needs and dates in Chicago. We're working on it, but nothing definite yet.
