Sick - should I rest or workout?

Gals - me and the whole fam have come down w/this nasty cold/flu bug. I am finally on the tail end of mine. The fever is gone, achiness is gone but coughing like mad.

Wondering if I should try and do a wt workout today. I know i'll never make it thru a cardio workout w/out coughing up a lung :( I am thinking of doing PH or ME?

What do you think? Should I rest or try it? I am so bumemd as I was suppose to start BFL last Sunday. I did soooooo good Sunday and Monday and then got sicker than a dog on Tuesday. I haven't worked out since Monday night and am really wanting to do something today but don't want to get myself sicker....

Thoughts?
 
Your health is important, I say take it easy and rest. You'll recover quicker if you relax & then you can really give it your all when your better. Just my opinion though. Feel better!

I'm in the same boat. I've been sick for three weeks. First, I got sick, then my daughters, then me again. x( I haven't worked out in these weeks. The first week of my Summer Fitness Challenge was great, but then...I hope I'll feel better.
 
I agree with Dawn. Rest. At least one or two more days. I know it's really frustrating being sick and having to take time off, but in the long run I think it's worth it.

Okay gals...you talked me into what I know I should have done in the first place. I'll rest instead. Maybe instead of working out when my kids take naps today I will take a nap. You're right - in the long run it will pay off. I will then be able to hopefully hit BFL hard on Monday.
