Showing off my new IKEA furniture

I love that color scheme, but it would NOT last in my world. I'd have to cover it, which defeats the purpose.

I love Ikea, most especially the slipcovered furniture, (like it looks like you have) that you can throw the slipcovers in the washer. I still have two easy chairs I got 6 yrs ago that are in great shape, and I just wash the covers every so often!!!!.

My footstool has the covers but not the chairs-Tullsta. HSN just showed my chair in grey on a vacuum segment a few minutes ago.
My next visit will be for a small dining room set but not for awhile. Today, I got to show someone the ropes since I was taught recently by a few Catheites.

Looks great! Two weeks ago we put together bunk beds and an 8 drawer dresser. I feel your pain of putting it together but it is rewarding. It definitely helps to tackle IKEA w/ someone who knows the ropes! It can be a bit overwhelming at first. Even for some of us "veterans." Have fun!

Looks great! We got a new IKEA bedroom a couple months ago, including one of those cool wardrobes they have. We just love it. I put our bed together myself and felt incredibly accomplished. Unfortunately, I proved that I'm better at putting things together than my husband... more work for me.
