A judge will issue a ruling on wether Lori Drew's case, the mother charged with setting up a fake myspace resulting in the suicide of a teen, should be dismissed. Defense attorneys claim the mother cannot be held responsible because Lori never read the myspace service rules that prohibit things like harassment. Yet a computer forensic analyst found that the myspace account was promptly removed upon Megan's suicide and Lori has testified that she knew she could get in trouble for the hoax.
Lori set up a fake myspace account to find out if Megan was spreading rumors about Lori's daughter Sarah. Lori claims she asked her business assistant to remove the account two weeks after creating it and that it was the assistant that sent Megan the final message that drove her to suicide.
Should the case be dismissed and if not, do you think Lori is guilty of conspiracy and accessing a computer without authorization?
