Shoes...what are your favorites and why

I like the Ryka's better then the Nike's because their is only 2 reason the nike's tonge always moves on me where the Ryka's don't and the rykas has better support so I guess for me the Ryka's are #1 for running shoes. Hope this helps. Edit to say did you try Lady's Footlocker? Also they are on the web.

Thank you! Support is a big issue for me as I have a screw in my right foot. That's why I like their aerobic shoes - they have a lot of cushion. The Nike's I wear have heavy cushion so these have always worked well, but I love the fit of my Ryka's the most of all my athletic shoes. I've never talked to or run across anyone that actually wore Ryka's for running which is why I've always hesitated to purchase them (I like a good reference!).

Your welcome Jo. The Ryka's do have heavier cushion then the nike's. It feels more stable in the heel. Hi Jo, I'm sorry those aren't the one I have. I have the KM-5 and I did paid 79.99 at Lady's Footlocker at my local Mall. I know alot of money but for me it was well worth it.

Thanks again and no problem about cost. I don't mind paying more for good quality shoes. When you think about how we hammer our feet with all the aerobics and running, they deserve the best! (Of course it's always nice to get a good deal!)

Well just to follow up on this post I made last week ;
the shoes I order came in today .
The Rykas Iseum fit just fine and so do the NB609's tommorrow I have MIC on schedule so I'll be using the Rykas then later on this week I have IMAX2 so I'll be using the NB 609s , I plan on alternating them.
Once I break them in I shall see which make my feet happier.
I was really excited as I've never ordered shoes via online before plus my feet were dying for new shoes...they came in very quickly and no problems...it was like XMAS for me today LMAO

Here's another link for Freddy shoes. I have never tried them but did a web search and found an instructor website where they were highly thought of so I ordered the funky Pro3 Hi Impact trainer. Hope it's fabulous. I have those Pro3 Hi Impact trainer and I love them but make sure you order a half size smaller. BTW that is how I found out about the Freddy's because of Fitnut. Boy I hope she is not getting a lot of morning sickness.
