Shoes revisited

Ok, I can't seem to make it to the store that has a whole lot of different Ryka's to pick from sooo....... if you need to try on a shoe that is sold in a "normal" store, what cross trainer or shoe for doing Cathe would you recommend? I wear orthotics so they have to work with that in mind.

I have thought about New Balance but haven't tried any on yet and my New Balance Walkers aren't really roomy enough in the toe for an adequate workout without ramming my toe into the shoe.

Any advice appreciated!!

I wear orthotics also. I wear Asics Gel-Nimbus. This is actually a running show but the only shoe my orthotic fit comfortably in for me. In addition to my high arches and PF, I have wide feet.
