Shock Cardio ?

I have a quick question about the SC series. I currently have HIIT, Travel Fit, and Cardio Core. I'm ordering another cardio DVD to get the free shipping benefit. Any advice on which Shock Cardio to purchase? Which one has the best fun factor? If none in that series, is IMAX 3 as fun as IMAX 2? Decisions, decisions!:p TIA, educated crowd!

I only have MMA Boxing, MMA Fusion and Travel Fit from Shock Cardio series. I love, love MMA Boxing. Very high fun factor, and a great length for days when you don't have an hour to workout. It is not as intense as IMAX. MMA Fusion is a different kind of intensity. It require agility. I love it but slightly less than MMA Boxing. I don't have IMAX 3.

I think Athletic Step is fun and intense. I have never done Step Moves or Circuit Blast so I am not sure about those. The MMA series is fun but other than the short interval bursts, they are not very intense. The core work at the end is really fun and good though.

Imax 3 is fun and super intense. I wouldn't say it is as fun as Imax 2 but pretty close.

Oh just get them all if you can't decide! :p

I think both Step Moves and Athletic Step are great! IMAX 3 is a wonderful workout, but definitely ramped up a few notches from IMAX 2, so it takes away from the fun factor a bit. :p

I just did Circuit Blast last night. Fun, a little high impact but most moves are easily modified. I'm already a little sore today. It's also under an hour so you're in and out quickly but it is very efficient. I really like this one and I'm not a cardio fan, so that says something!

I would recommend Step Moves for the fun factor or Circuit Blast. IMAX three is more difficult than IMAX 2 but for me IMAX 2 is so much more fun!

Another vote for MMA Boxing and Athletic Step. These are my favorites from the series, and the ones I reach for the most often (along with HiiT Pyramids).

When I met Cathe in San Diego, we were talking about MMA Boxing and she mentioned how much fun it was to film the series and made particular reference to Boxing, AS, Travel Fit and Cardio Core Circuit. I think of that conversation sometimes when doing these workouts, which makes me smile and focus on the "fun factor".

Good luck with your purchasing decision!

I really like Athletic Step and Step Moves. Athletic Step has more plyos but I love it for the cross countries. It doesn't have traditional 'intervals' rather she builds up the workout, layering in the intensity.

Step Moves is more dancy, like RS. I am doing SM (step moves) later today. The choreography is bit much to start with but if you can do RS, its no problem.

I prefer Imax 2 over Imax 3, also it comes with CW. CW is in my top 5 workouts of all time.

Thanks guys!

Thanks, all my fellow Cathletes! Looks like Athletic Step takes the vote! Can't wait to try it out!:D:D

I think Step Moves has more of a fun factor than Athletic Step. It's more "dancey" and complicated than Athletic Step(although I like that, too). Athletic Step is quicker to pick up than Step Moves . Have fun with Athletic Step!
