Serious Weight training

Something like Pure Strength only a lot harder for really advanced and serious trainers. Less emphasis on endurance. A body part split per day would be nice.

I like this idea too. Simply Weights. ;-) While the Premixes if BB can be made into a all weight day, it would be nice to have another Pure Strenth Series. Hey, do I have a catchy title or what? :p

I'd also like to see an "update" of PS, a three-day split, but with slower reps to allow for heavier weights. And bring back the "cross body tricep extension" I just did PS back/biceps/abs the other day, and liked the number of reps and the fact that we didn't overdo sets for each body part (though more recent workouts have more interesting and effective ab workouts).

I totally agree with what everyone has said here. Yes please, I'd buy a series like this in a heartbeat.:) I never thought I could be this strong until I got the PS series. And now I want to be even stronger, push myself to the limit until I can push no more.:)

I'd be in line for this one, too! While I love all Cathe's weight tapes, the PS series is always a favorite and I would LOVE to see another series just like it!

Okay, I just had to come back and say it again - this would be genius!!! We need this!!!:7 Pretty please?

I really liked how Pyramid Lower Body had exercises that were simple and didn't have pulsing moves or holds or hovers. It was just straight to the point. Plus the floor work was amazing. It's great you had modifications without the ball too.
Maybe an Upper body tape that doesn't have bent over moves. We have a few now with those. It makes it difficult to focus on the weight when you need to keep the lower back stable.
PUB was excellent. Please keep the original workout with enough sets in it so that the footage doesn't get repeated if more sets are required. PUB had 5 sets so that the premixes didn't require repeats.
That was a good thing.

>Yep, real heavy weight training tape. Less endurnace, more
>muscle building.

I second this!! Especially back and not so much legs.

Yes, more back work. I want a sexy back. Are there other ways to work back other than one arm/ double arm rows? How do they get those nice upper back muscles?

Oh yeah!

A cross between PS and S&H would be great. Heavy lifting with a slow tempo.

Clearly a winner for your next series!

I'm also wishing for an update to the PS series. I love the stabilization & core work in the recent series, but want some classic strength building sets. The recent releases have focused on muscular endurance.

Yes, the recent strength training videos are definitely more endurance-oriented and an updated split series like Pure Strength would be perfect! Hope Cathe sees this.;)
