Santa.. a stalker???

Had to crack up at what my younger son said yesterday. He said "Mom, in some ways Santa seems kind of like a stalker?" I said "a stalker???? no, of course not, why would you think something like that?" and he said "Well I was listening to the words in that Christmas song and it says he sees you when you're sleeping and he knows when you're awake."

LOL...The things kids think of....

LOL I'm with your son on this one.

I thought Santa was scary when I was a little girl. I did not like sitting on his lap at all, I couldn't get away from him fast enough! Just the thought of him watching me....Was he peeking through my bedroom windows?

Have you heard of Elf on the Shelf? I don't know if it's based on a book, or if it's just a cute game that parents share with eachother to "encourage" their kids to be good at Christmas. It involves one of Santa's elves--in doll form. The elf comes each morning to your house and sits in one spot all day. The kids can't move or touch the elf. Then, at the end of the day, the elf goes back to Santa to report on the kids' behavior. The next morning, the elf comes back to a new spot in the house to observe the day's activities...repeat, repeat, repeat until Christmas.

Sounds like your son might be right, Cathe! :D

Wow - how does a little kid know what a stalker is in the first place?!?!? Yikes, but very funny!

My daughter is almost 4 and she is already questioning how Santa's sled can fly...even with magical reindeer . She asked me the other day "mom, how can a sled fly? It's not a plane or a bird. It doesn't have wings". I honestly don't think she's gonna buy the "Santa is real" thing for much longer :(:D.

Well, I don't mind him too much after all he helps me by eating the cookies (which I don't need anyway.) and leaves a presents. And, then, he tops it off by leaving coal for those who are naughty (don't you wish those on the naughty list were getting coal?)

The magic creates lift by altering the wind currents, barometric pressure, and temperature.;)

Awe, Gratefuldog, your son sounds like a such a sweetheart!
FWIW, it's always some kid at school who tells the other kids. That's how everyone in my family found out.
