Ryka Alchemy III or Stylus?

Anyone have a preference & why? I am prone to flat footedness so need good arch support. I like the Cirrus pretty well and liked my pair of Alchemy's too.

I had both and liked both so I guess I'm not much help on this one! :)

If I had to chose between 1 or the other I'd probably go with the Stylus, only because I remember they worked with my foot even before being "broken in."

Kellib, I checked out roadrunnersports.com after you posted and I ordered a pair of Alchemy III since I needed them. At $29.99 + 7...I thought it was a good deal. I am a size 8 but ordered a 9 since they said to order one full size bigger...is this good? I hope they fit! :)

I can fit a size 8.5 or 9, and I fit size 9 in the Ryka's. I think they do run a little big, but it might be a good idea to verify that with a shoe store (I think that Lady Footlocker still sells Rykas).

I ended up ordering the stylus - the descriptions I found online for the two shoes sounded like the stylus was more for high impact and the alchemy maybe not so high - I could be wrong. In any case, 25 bucks for a pair of Ryka shoes is an awesome deal (the stylus ended up being 45, also a great deal!)
btw, the coupon code RJM-02741 gave 15% off, not $15 off, so I used the free s/h coupon code since that was a better discount (8 bucks s/h, I believe).
Now I just wait for my new shoes to get here! :)

Coupon codes are discontinued...

I called roadrunnersports and tried to add the coupon codes to my order and the lady told me they are discontinued...however, she was awesome and very helpful. For years I have received Road Runner Sports' catalog and have never ordered until now so she gave me free shipping!!! That, of course, caused me to add a pair or Stylus to my previous order! (They did not have the Stylus in my size in white, but she found it in black. Couldn't resist...I ordered them, too.) So now I will be receiving BOTH the Alchemy III and the Stylus! Can you tell I am getting ready for the new workouts with TWO new pairs of workout Rykas...?? }>

This forum is dangerous...it gets you spending money like crazy! :)

I just received my Ryka's! My God - they are so comfortable! I bought 1 pair of Alchemy's and I turned around and bought another pair! Thanks for suggesting these shoe's and for the coupon codes!

I got my Alchemy III and Stylus shoes on Monday (12/01) and tried on the Alchemy IIIs today (12/04). They are really nice and comfy. I will be using the Stylus tomorrow for BodyMax. My previous Ryka shoes were KM2 running shoes and a size 8. These new shoes are specifically crosstrainers and a size 9. No wonder my toes hurt after exercising with the size 8 shoes! Rykas tend to run a size bigger than your regular shoe size. I will definitely keep buying Rykas for Cathe's workouts.
