Runners: The Stick??

I've seen only good reviews of The Stick (www.thestick.com) but I'd like some more personal responses. I'm considering it because anything to alleviate the soreness while driving home from a long run before I climb into that dreaded ice bath... ;)

Anyone have and use their Stick?? TIA!!
 
Hi Amy. I have the stick and absolutely love it. I think I have the version called The Sprinter. I tried it out at a race expo, and I was amazed at how tight my muscles were, and how good the stick felt on them. I bought it at the expo. I use it on my calf muscles and hamstrings. I think it really helps me to recover more quickly from long runs. I'm not sure how you would be able to use it while driving though! Unless you aren't the one doing the driving :) You might have to wait until you get home. I usually use mine at night in bed right before I go to sleep.

Thanks Cathy and Sherry!! LOL, you're right Sherry, I wouldn't use it *while* driving; I just want to have something more than a stretch because I sometimes run 10-30 minutes away from my house so after a long run, a stretch at the end doesn't feel most effective.

I'm now adding it to my list... }(

I've never heard of it either, but am very interested after checking out the website, thanks for bringing the rest of us up to speed. ;-)
