Hey. I'm still around, but busy and not posting much. I'm squeezing in workouts when I can and doing lots of Clean Max (winks to Belinda). A couple is going to live in our house while we're gone, and so I've got to get it ready to turn over to them in 2 weeks.

Gin--I like Cardio Hits, but unlike Tess, I'm not a fan of Power Max. However, to me, the other 2 make it worth purchasing.

I'd be interested in hearing anyone's opinion on Timesaver, too. Maybe I'll post in OD. However, with the 4 day split coming, I wonder if Timesaver is worth it.

Off to more cleaning!

Morning Everyone:)

Today is Step Blast for me, fun fun workout:)

Laura- I have Timesaver, but have never used it. Have fun cleaning;-)

Have a great day everyone.

Michelle--Isn't it funny how we have workouts that we've never used? I just recently did MIC and the Gym Style upper body workouts for the first time, and I've had them for years. I had as my goal to get through all my unused workouts before heading to the US for furlough. However, I forgot about the Hardcore Extremes. I guess I'll have them to look forward to when I get back!

I just finished PLB. Back a year or so ago, that was the first workout where I matched Cathe's weights. It's because it's all straight reps and no low-ends. But now, after working my way up on leg weights so that I can do even low-ends with 35 or 40 pounds, doing straight sets was "easy" (in comparative terms; basically I mean that I could do it all without making ugly faces!! LOL)

Doing a happy dance that I fit in a workout today amidst all the cleaning and packing. :)

Good morning,

I have several Cathe weight training videos that are still in plastic I am embarassed to say and I probably need to crack them open prior to the Roadtrip.

Today I did Bootcamp and then plan on doing

B:2slices of lite bread with PB
S: mini kit kat (UGG! it called me) and apple
L: Lean Cusine and fruit snack
S: Apple and ????
D: Baked fish and steamed veggies, cup cake

Thanks for inspiring me today!!

Good Morning RTers!

Today I did HSC and I was thinking that if Cathe does workouts this intense on the RT, I am in big trouble!!}( Is it just me, or is this one a tough one?

Laura--I have Timesaver, but have only used it a couple of times. It is good on a day that you need a shorter workout. There are just so many good ones, I forget to use it.

Have a great day all!

Hi everyone!

Well I had my post all typed out with personals and everything and it just disapeared!:-( Now I don't have time to do it all again. Maybe later.

I'm not sure which workout I'll do today. Viper is on the rotation schedule but I'm not sure if I have the energy for that one. I will do something though. I'm trying to reach my goal of 20 workouts in June.

I received an email today saying that my flight had been changed. Talk about panic! Luckily, it didn't change by much. As it is, I have to leave my house by 2:30 in the morning to get to the airport ( I have a 7:30 flight and it takes 3 hours to drive to the Phoenix airport). I'm not looking forward to that.

I'll try to check back in later. Sounds like my 2 year old DD finally woke up. Gotta run!

Hi everyone! Yesterday I did Kimberly's Absolute Kickboxing and some ab work. Tonight will be GS Legs. Eating has been fine with the exception of ICE CREAM LOL. So I met up with Lorie / lederr yesterday at this sushi joint. We had a great time! She is such a sweetheart. We tried to get our picture taken, but the guy who did the honors didn't press the button all teh way down, so no pictures to share. I'll definitely get pictures of the Atlanta get together we're doing on 7/29. That should be a lot of fun - like a pre road trip! There are several of us in Atlanta who are going on the road trip so it will be nice to meet them and see some familiar faces on 8/10!

Laura - you'll still be here in spirit. I hope you have a good trip back to the states! I love PLB too but it is tricky. Last time I did it I thought "aww this is a piece of cake" but then my hammies were sore for DAYS.

Michelle - I have Step Blast but I have yet to try it. Is it fun and easy to learn?

Belinda - I love PH! That is my all time favorite Cathe workout. Have fun with it today!

Crabbyella - Boot camp is also my all time favorite Cahte workout (haha, well it comes very close to PH).

Gin - Glad you got a great workout in. I think that every time I do a tough one, that I'm in big big trouble. DH jokes that he's going to take out extra life insurance before the RT...just in case Cathe murders me.

Jacque - I don't think I would EVER have the energy for Viper. :)

Have a great day ladies.

Gin--I think HSC is hard. Part of the difficulty to me is that there's no predictable pattern, like in her other workouts. I'm always guessing about which exercise comes next. I have it all in my notebook, but there's no time to check what I've written!! I do love the workout, but it's tough. You run from one exercise to the next!!

Tess--I LOVE Step Blast. It is fun, but it does have some tricky parts, since it's more recent. She assumes that you know the moves from previous workouts. But it's fun, fun, fun. It's great for a day when you ALMOST feel like doing an Imax but aren't quite up to that much of a challenge.

I'm glad to find someone who loves PH. It was my first Cathe weights workout, and I had a love-hate relationship with it. It was where I learned that I had NOT been using heavy weights with the FIRM. There was a serious dread factor that I tied to PH, and it's hard for me to shake that feeling, even though now I'm much stronger and can handle the weight. But that's the workout that really taught me to lift.

Jacque--Is the Viper on the Intensity series combo DVD? I have all 3 volumes of the Intensity series but not the bonus disk. Is it worth having?

Tess-LOL! I have to agree with you on that one. It's just one of those workouts that you force yourself to do and hope you make it through.

Laura--I used to dread the lunges in PH. That is until GS Legs and B&G came out (those slow motion lunges are a killer)!
The Viper is on the Terminator DVD which is part of the Intensity series. It has three workouts: Viper, Gauntlet, and Imax Extreme. (Nice names huh?)It's very tough and, in my opinion, worth buying.

I decided against doing Viper today. I think I'll do Bootcamp instead. My mom called while I was typing this and she's on her way over so I guess my workout will have to wait a little longer.
