Susan, only 6 pounds at 19 weeks? And you were worried!! NEVER heard of the Dr. Pepper thing -- sounds...interesting!
I've been trying hard to eat better too -- more protein, more complex carbs. I commented to DH last night that I may hate the heat and humidity of summer, but I sure love the better prices on all the delicious fruit and veggies. We've been enjoying strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and grapes like nobody's business.
I pulled out my Clean Eating magazines for inspiration, and decided to actually plan my menu for next week. I tend to be more spontaneous in the kitchen (I don't know on Sunday what I will want to eat on Thursday!), but I'm going to try it this way. And I've got the cut up red bell peppers, carrot sticks, and celery sticks in the fridge for hummus dipping
And I've been making a lot soup this week; I figure it's a great way to get a lot of veggies in during the day!
