Rotations for new tapes??

RE: Slow and Heavy rotation

I agree, Aimee...once a week per tape seems perfect to me. I'm going to try it too. Thanks for the great suggestions!

RE: Slow and Heavy rotation

Okay, here I am about 24 hours after working out with the Slow and Heavy Chest and Back. I went a bit lighter than I thought I could manage just to see how I felt. A tad sore, but not too much. I have not had any soreness in months so I know I will see some improvement in muscle development as a result of this new series.

Today I did Rhythmic Step. Uh, at least I tried. Major klutz here. It will take me a little while longer before I can keep from stumbling around and ending on the wrong leg most of the time. But I did last through the whole thing.

I finished up with the ab work on MIS.

Tomorrow, onward to Shoulders and Legs, then the next day Biceps and Triceps. My muscles are already quivering at the thought.

Putting Aimee's rotation to the test.

RE: Slow and Heavy rotation

Hi Marlene!! I did chest and back yesterday also!! I know, I know, I was supposed to take the week off. But I couldn't take the suspense anymore:)!! I feel quite sore in my chest and a little in my back. I felt NO soreness in my tri's or shoulders, so what did I do? I tried out tri's and bi's! I will start the rotation as I posted starting Mon., but I just had to try these little boogers out! I'm just test driving them this weekend and come Monday, the work begins! So far, I've really liked both tapes! BTW, what are your goals?

RE: Slow and Heavy rotation

I did Legs and Shoulders today. Ouch ouch ouch.

Whenever I try out a new weight training tape I always go lighter than I think I can do so I can concentrate on form. Also, I won't know until the next day if I went too easy or too hard. I don't mind a bit of soreness but I don't wanna cripple myself either.

Anyway, even with weights much lighter than I use for Pure Stength I was challenged. I found the shoulder work particularly difficult for some reason and had to go much much lighter than I ordinarily use.

What are my goals? Let's see. When I started the Pure Strength tapes a few months ago I wanted to lose about 15 pounds and get more arm definition (I want those Cathe arms). I don't weigh myself too often but I did this morning and found that my goal has been met. Yippee.

So now I just want to firm and tighten up and maintain my leaner look. I have some definition in the shoulders and arms but I want more.

How about your goals? What are you trying to accomplish? Or, what have you already accomplished?

RE: Slow and Heavy rotation

I'm trying to gear up to do legs and shoulders. I had to go lighter in bi's and tri's so I'll also keep that in mind with my shoulders. My goals? Hmmmmmmm....... I want to lose some bodyfat, not too much, just 2-3% and build more muscle and definition. My focus is total body definition. My weight is ok now, I just want to lose the fat and replace it with muscle.
Ok, time to get my butt in gear for legs and shoulders and a little bit of kickboxing:)!!
