Rotation question

Does anyone remember a lower body rotation posted a while back, where Cathe talks about 200 walking lunges? Question: is that total or per leg?

Hi Nspire!
I am currently doing one of Cathe's lower body rotations, which included the 200 walking lunges. It is her Sept 2005 "Butts and Guts" rotation. There may be other rotations that include the walking lunges, but this is the one I'm currently doing. What I do is just "walk lunge" continually alternating legs, counting the first lunge as one, the next lunge as two, etc., until I reach 200. I see someone posted the older rotations again, so you can find the link to this one in that post. I hope this helps!

:)CC

PS- I'm on week 3 and my legs are so much stronger and getting well defined! :)

I'm new to Cathe and this is actually the first rotation I chose to do, because of my goals. I am on the third week of this rotation and I am definitely seeing results! I am not real "cut" or anything like that, but I have definitely burned fat off the mid-section and my abs/legs are much stronger. Also, my legs are more defined than before! I actually had to throw in a few extra "rest" days for myself because this workout really kicks your butt- literally! My legs tremble when I pop in the next workout ;)

Good luck!

Yeah, this is the first rotation I've decided to do also. Good luck. I'm on my second week so I have the wonderful 200 lunges today. Question for you, what was a good place you found to do the lunges? I thought about outside but I don't want people looking at me like fool.

Ha ha, I felt silly doing them too!! Actually, my cats looked at me like I was silly :) I have two long hallways in my house, so I decided to 'walk lunge' up and down the hallways. Of course I had to keep turning around and going back the other way, but it was the best I could do!

If you have a treadmill, you can do them on there, too.

You have to test and find the speed that works for you.

Just be careful!

A treadmill how interesting. I'm gonna have to try it. What speed do you normally do them on?
