Hello!

I am just a beginner at making rotations and I was wondering if anyone could share their wisdom with me on this one.

My goals are to lose fat, strengthen my legs and core for my horseback riding but not necesarily to build upper body bulk.

Saturday - Kickmax cardio premix (without leg drills) and Muscle Max

Sunday - Low Max and any Core Workout

Monday - High Step Challenge

Tuesday - Any Cathe cardio (any series) and any Core Workout

Wednesday - IMAX2 or IMAX3 (lowest step height or no step to start)

Thursday - Gym Style Legs and Core Workout

Friday - Rest

I don't remember if Muscle Max or the HS Challenge have core work already.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

MM and HSC both have great core/ab work. I answered your question in the Open forum. Do you have any of other Cathe Lower Body Strength workouts??...Carole

Yes, I answered you on the Open Discussion, too - thanks so much! I'm certainly going to take your suggestion into consideration.

I'm a horseback rider too (dressage). I love the Coremax workouts, the premixes are really good. However, I still struggle with crookedness in my body, especially during leg yield. Even kickboxing is good for core strength. My instructor commented the other day on how much endurance I have on the horse. I need to remember my horse needs a break, even if I don't.

I ride dressage as well! I look at it this way - if I'm not willing to kick my own butt, I have no business kicking my horse's butt. Everything he does, I do as well, if that makes sense. I really buy into the partners thing with riding (although I'm definitely the boss - heehee!) so I think we both need to be as fit as we can in order to succeed.

Besides, he's quite a physical ride so I have to be able to keep up with him!

I go to a sacro-cranial physical therapist to help undo my own crookedness.

Leg-yield is tricky. We are just starting out our 1st level movements so you just know we're all over the earth - back ends slipping out, charging forward with the front, dropping hips, uneven seat bones, tipping at the poll - LOL!
