Roadtrippers- Saturday 3/31

Guess where I've been? Checking out the Roadtrip area! :) Dh and I are in NJ visiting his parents, and made a pit stop in Deptford. He showed me where the Dunkin Doughnuts was in relation to the Fairfield Inn. FYI, it's just down the road. :9 I was in last Deptford a few years ago for his niece's birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese. I vaguely remembered the main retail layout. Aldephias is right across from the mall about a stone throw away from the hotels. Well, everything is right by the mall. The mall seems to be smack dab in the center. We didn't drive to Cathe's gym. Dh said that it wasn't too far away. Anyhow, I feel better knowing how easy it will be to get there from PA. It's been ages since my dh lived in that area.

Today was P90X Day 3: Shoulders/Arms and AbRipperX. Dh and I managed to survive. I don't know how much pain I'm in from today's workout since the existing DOMS mask any newer ones. LOL My diet has been decent except I didn't eat anything till 2:00.
Breakfast: Water and Dunkin Doughnuts Coffee w/extra cream
Lunch: Southwestern Salad with a little dressing
Dinner: Roasted Chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes/gravy, corn
Snack: Kashi granola bar, 2 mini chocolate chip muffins, banana

Well, I'm off to find some paper to jot down notes for personals. I'm not sure how MIL's computer works. Lately, I've been typing my post in email and then pasting it here.

Okay, I'm back for personals...

I can't remember who asked me about the heartrate monitor I bought the other day. I got a Polar F6 in PINK! I have to figure out how to get it working correctly. It read 115 when I was resting and then jumped around to 180 during Plyometrics. A few hours later it was reading 80 while I was on the computer. Figures it would work right when I didn't need it! I hear KYjelly works well. I'll have dh pick me up some. LOL

ShellyC: We had a lovely time at the musical Beauty and the Beast. This highschool is known all around for their professional productions! They hire musicians for the orchestra. Belle sounded just like Belle from the cartoon! English words can't describe what a great job they did on costumes and scenery. I'm sure there'd be some Greek words that would come close! It was spectacular and fanastic. Good luck with your 12 mile run tomorrow! I hope you kicked whatever was making you feel run down yesterday.

Cheryl: I love Plyometrics too! I did it for the first time yesterday as part of my P90X rotation. I thought my knees would be screaming for sure. To my surprise, they were fine. It's only my inner thighs that aren't on speaking terms with me. LOL You continually keep me in awe. 70 minutes, twice a day! No wonder you look so great for a mother of 10 and have your doctors scratching their heads in amazement!

Belinda: I have changed my workouts since I started P90X with my dh. However, I'm working out at a pace that I can do safely while still feeling it the next day. I don't like having to purchase a lot of dvds to follow anyone's rotation. If dh hadn't of bought P90X, I would have pushed myself a little more everyday with what I owned. It's no different than before I registered for the roadtrip. I have to admit that working out with dh is so much fun!

Robin: Has your energy returned to normal since donating blood? From a mother of preemies who required daily transfusions, I thank you for you donating!

Josie: Yes, I would also love to hear your thoughts on Meet the Robinsons.

Beth: I'm with ShellyC. What does PIYO mean? I'm sure you did a great job cueing. No one required hospitalization, right? Then you did a great job! ;-)

Jean: I'm hoping that the roadtrip classes aren't too difficult or intense. From what I've heard they're not too intense. Still, I'm like you. I want to be ready just in case.

Julia: I see you had time to workout after posting personals. LOL I'm the queen at procrastinating my workouts. After I finish exercising, I kick myself for waiting so long since it feels soooo good! Thanks for the April Fools reminder.

Bekki: Just keep at KPC, the combos will start to fall into place eventually. I just added on one combo at a time to whatever else I was using until I got it all down. It's one of my favorites now. I agree with the eating. I love eating! If I tried to exclude or limit myself, I would focus more on what I couldn't have and then want it more. So, I just go with the flow and try to focus more on hunger/fullness. Seems to work alright for me.

Jennifer: I so want to borrow Powerstrike when I'm ready to kick KenPo to the curb. You'll be ready to part with it for a week by that time. ;-) What did you buy today? Can you believe that I went shopping with dh this evening and didn't buy a thing for myself!! I must be coming down with something dreadful! LOL Dh got two pairs of shoes and some workout clothes. He needed them though.

Kara: Surprisingly and thankfully, the vet at our local animal hospital didn't have many animals affected by the food recall. Oh, how can you not love going to babyshowers. Where else can you feel so skinny by guessing the mother to be's waist measurement! Well, it's always more fun visiting the baby than going to the baby shower.

Carole: Veggie Gourmet Pizza! YUM :9 Be sure to give a detailed description on how it tasted and what was on it for those of us who don't have any good veggie pizza places close by.

I apologize if I didn't get to everyone (those posting while I typed my novel). There's always another day!

Blessings,
PAWendy

Oops, forgot to turn my notebook paper!

Phyllis: How was Premoinition? I've heard conflicting reviews. Enjoy your rest day!

Lorrie: What kind of rest day is that! Girlfriend, you rest harder than I sometimes work! LOL I love Fluidity! But, what is Katami Bar? Oh, stop. I don't need anymore enabling! ;-)

Hello.

I missed posting yesterday. I had to shower quickly after my workout to meet friends for dinner. Friday's workout was Drill Max and 50 minutes on the TM (walking). Today I did a step class at my gym and lifted weights for back. It was such a pretty day when I got home so I took Sophie (my dog) for a walk (about 45 minutes) followed by PUB (no abs) and Core Max #1. I guess I was feeling guilty about all the cocktails I had last night (and the veggie pizza I had tonight).
I don't have much planned for the weekend. I will be watching a lot of basketball--I am a big college sports fan and am doing well in my bracket.
I have read everyone's posts and hope to write personals tomorrow as it is getting a little late. I hope everyone had a great day!
